Dishonored goes back to a time where stealth games were awesome. VG247's Dave Cook looks at why sneaking brings out the best in us.
It’s a shame, really, that so few games have “borrowed” Dishonored’s Blink – in the right hands, such a power could be game-changing.
There was a small game called Aragami that “borrowed” the blink, that was a good game.
Unfortunately I heard the sequel wasn’t good so I stayed away from trying it out.
Dishonored's engaging lore, creative levels, and timeless gameplay are well worth revisiting for fans of the immersive sim and stealth genre.
Daily Video Game writes: "Xbox Store has just kicked off Arkane Studios publisher sale, offering up to 80% off on some of the best games from Arkane Studios, including Deathloop, Dishonored, and Prey for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One right now!"
"the return of stealth"
not really...
The return of true stealth? Clearly, someone hasn't played Mark of the Ninja. it may be a side-scrolling game, but it actually IS true stealth.
It may not be true stealth, but at least there is stealth. Le sigh... I miss Splinter Cells from 2002-2006 and Thief :(
I thought true stealth was when that is your only option really because you'll more than likely die if you don't use stealth.
It's just another option in Dishonored which is cool, freedom of choice an all that but odds are if you're trying to be stealthy and fail, you'll easily fight your way out.
Deus Ex HR says hi :)
