Dishonored Review | EDGE

EDGE: "It’s a brave and interesting statement to make about responsibility and the nature of choice, and if you don’t mind being mildly rebuked for having uncomplicated fun, you don’t need to engage with it at all. For the rest of us, it adds another layer to this sad city. It’s a rare delight to play a game with such consistency of vision, its art design, level architecture, rulesets, storylines and writing all working in lockstep. It’s more than enough to give you a deep connection to Dunwall, and the impulse to work to save it."

A 9 FROM EDGE?!

Must be good...

Yui_Suzumiya4218d ago

Just what I was going to say, lol

dredgewalker4218d ago

Not just Edge, this game has been getting high scores from a lot of review sites. It's a rarity that a game gets good scores without people complaining about it. Hail to the birth of a new successful ip.

Does a 9 from other outlets mean less? Don't jump on me here, I'm confused.

grailly4218d ago

it does, edge usually has higher standards, I don't always agree with their harsh scoring but when they score high, you can be assured the game is good.

It felt kinda cheap to me… both in terms as a tactic, and game design

Abnor_Mal433d ago (Edited 433d ago )

There was a small game called Aragami that “borrowed” the blink, that was a good game.

Unfortunately I heard the sequel wasn’t good so I stayed away from trying it out.

The sequel changed some of the mechanics from the first game but it was still a very polished and enjoyable experience. You should definitely give it a shot sometime. The game's currently on sale on Steam

Okay thanks for the heads up, will look out for it being on sale one day.

I really did like the first and played it back to back as soon as I finished the first play through.
