But they're really not the same. You can't get mods on consoles. Mods make up a huge part of the game.

@BraveToaster : Yes they do, however, It doesn't really matter. Yes, I love modding games, but I do love consoles too in the fact that I can pick up and play, no hassles, no installations and no "Yourmum.exe has stopped working." :P

If there's a game which has amazing mods, we'll play it on PC. If not, consoles. *Shrug* Don't really see a fight here :P

The Socom Community on the PS2 was the best community ever seen in gaming.

I played the CS:GO beta on PC, and while I had some fun with it, the hit detection was absolutely terrible. Another thing I didn't like were the huge amounts of cheaters in the game. Go onto Youtube and watch the cheaters, its brutal.

PC games in general have this problem. Full obnoxious and conceited gamers with little else to do but to spend hours each day perfecting their skills at a video game whilst raging at noobs to make themselves feel better about their own failed lives. Then they'll at some point slip in a sly remark about how fantastic their gaming set up is when nobody else cares.

The CoD community? Mainly just immature kids. At least most of them will grow up unlike the PC gamers.

The worst part is when you realize many of the guys that brags the most about their rigs are mostly playing games that demands nothing , like CS , WoW , starcraft , Minecraft .

Sure it's nice to at least have the power and choice of playing any juggernaut and heavy game , but if it's only for bragging right screw you .

Before some get upset i'm only describing some fellow pc gamers , and their "elite" attitude , especially toward consoles .

Honestly, I'd stray away from CS:GO for Xbox 360 at the moment:

I partied up with one of my friends, and sat there while Matchmaking searched for 10 minutes. Attempting to try again, I canceled Matchmaking back to the Party Menu, and couldn't hear the other person talking while in the party menu after starting the search. My friend hosted, and the same thing happened; voice comms break to the point where we had to leave the Matchmaking Party and start another just so we could her each other.

So, after 30 minutes of trying to join a match together (and failing miserably, although we could each join matches separately), let alone HEAR each other, we both formed a Party Chat and played against bots for 10 minutes before heading back to Battlefield 3. Needless to say, after that horrible experience, I won't be buying CS:GO.

It's disappointing when a multiplayer game releases, and core multiplayer functions are broken. Broken voice communication in a game that won't even let you play while in Party Chat? Endless matchmaking searches while trying to join with your friends? So...a team-based game with broken functions NECESSARY for team play. What a joke. Do developers even test these games before charging people money for them?

Or just try game chat like it tells you to. Then you'll be able to hear people. It's making u do that so that you can't cheat and tell your friends where the other team are when you're dead. Broken function? Your brain is the only thing broken

Fucking fanboys. On one end you have 12 year old COD players who can only afford an Xbox, and on the other end you have the snobby PC players who think they're all that because they have a fucking quad i7 with Radeon 7970 x2 and they mod their games to the breaking point, and say that 360's are a waste of time. Like seriously, shut up. These pc snobs are just as bad as the 12 year olds. I have both, and I can say that playing 360 or PS3 can be as much fun as playing a pc.
