Why World of Warcraft isn't getting a facelift any time soon

i'd love an overhaul. goblins look awesome and then you zoom in on the older ones and its disappointing in comparison.

i'm also up for a larger draw distance and a slight texture upgrade. they added sunshafts and physics based water with cata so its not out of bounds to ask for it. they added dx11 support and soon its getting a 64-bit client option, so you know they're open to improving the engine.

But I'm not sure if they're willing to improve the detail of the artwork. With such a massive game as World of Warcraft, that would be a gigantic undertaking.

they don't need to improve all of the artwork. i love the visuals of wow how they are. for the most part timeless with a couple bad spots here and there. specifically the characters could use an upgrade which i know would be a lot of work but maybe worth it. unless they were going to make a wow2 then just don't worry about it.
