Wii Holiday Line-up is Horrible

Original Gamer: "Hope you're not hoping for a lot of Wii games to play this year because there's not much to wait for. Make sure to ask Santa for a better system this year."

pfft donkey kong, kirby, epic mickey, and while i dislike the game golden eye say other wise

Muletroid4969d ago

you can add rabbids in time to that and sonic colors if that's your thing (not mine)

Cratos87804969d ago

after reading this informative article I have decided to sell my Wii.

killzowner4969d ago

Donkey kong, kirby and raving rabbids. That sounds familiar, wonder why? haven't these games been released at least 20 times before?

HolyOrangeCows4969d ago

You should know by now that Nintendo die-hards love to buy the same thing over and over again.

Fred-G-Sanford4969d ago

This year's holiday lineup is a big part of the reason I just purchased a Wii.

Theonik4969d ago

From all these only Sonic Colours and Kirby really interest me. Even if i wanted all of them it's still an poor line-up. Only 5 games are even remotely worth playing.

only game im looking forward to on wii is Epic Mickey that's it.

R_aVe_N4969d ago

I agree Epic Mickey is pretty much the only title I will be buying for Wii. I wish they would make it for the PS3 as well so I can get rid of the dust magnet they call a Wii. I have gotten a game for that thing in a long time.

King-Leonidas4969d ago

the only game i have for my wii is Mario galaxy and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

King-Leonidas4969d ago

Would you mind explaining all the disagrees?

meluvulongtime4969d ago

imo nintendo has the best line up with Epic Mickey, Goldeneye, Donkey Kong, and Wii Party. Metroid other M just came out the end of August too. Nintendo is just catering to their audience which is a mix of casuals and the nintendo hardcore. Sony has GT5, multiplats, and move titles. MS has Fable III, multiplats, and kinnect titles.

eagle214969d ago (Edited 4969d ago )

Wii line-up is the BEST actually. I laugh at this article and anyone who believes it. I love my Wii most. And guess what WON E3's Game Of Show from Gamespot? Kirby. Guess what won best graphics from Gamespot? Kirby. GO CRY..lol. You like fun? Buy a Wii. This article is just mad Nintendo has the best holiday offering they have ever had coupled with the best reviewed game this year. :)

Fred-G-Sanford4969d ago (Edited 4969d ago )

Kirby's Epic Yarn looks awesome.

The textures are incredible and the gameplay looks just plain fun.

The early "previews" that I have read seem to suggest that it is going to score very high with critics, but only time will tell on that one.

gumgum994968d ago

I'm with Theonik as far as interest, but I wouldn't mind having a play with Donkey Kong and Mickey. ^_^

what really sucks is that the japanese have a stronger line up than the US. i mean hell the mario 25th anniversary thing is the lead game going into the holiday season there even a mario theme Wii coming out over there that i highly doubt will come over here

Zelda Replay: Majora's Mask

VGChartz's Evan Norris: "Is Ocarina of Time as legendary as I remembered it? For the most part, yes. In spite of a handful of missteps — a few obtuse puzzles, some tedious backtracking, and a clunky stealth sequence — I don't believe the last 23 years have been unkind to it. Ocarina remains a brilliant example of the medium, a landmark game that shaped the future of its own franchise and 3D gaming in general. After more than two decades it retains its inventive dungeon design, challenging puzzles, dynamic combat, wistful storyline, unforgettable music, and empowering open-air freedom. I feel confident calling it one of the greatest games of the fifth generation, even if I'm no longer prepared to list it among the five best games ever made."

Pure unadulterated fun. They don't make them like this anymore...especially not the triple A industry.

FinalFantasyFanatic16d ago

Back when video rental was a thing, I rented out Majoria's Mask, I never finished it though. I did buy the 3DS version before the eshop shutdown, so maybe one day I'll finally play through the whole thing, it's amazing how well these games hold up though. I briefly played Ocarina of Time for a while and it was really fun.

6 Fun Games Where You Actually Play As The Bad Guy

While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.

Profchaos20d ago

Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.

It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny

Tacoboto20d ago

Armored Core VI?

Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.

Is something big coming soon to branch the story?

banger8820d ago

No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).

ChasterMies19d ago

Trevor in GTA 6 is a sadist and psychopath who dabbles in cannibalism. Should be top of the list. These game “news” sites should hire people that know games.

Strange headline, as I thought the star of the show was Super RType. I almost bought RType Dimensions EX this last month and was just thinking, man I wish we had the SNES one somewhere on Switch. That's where I got my start w the series and I was beyond excited to see it drop this week!
