Mario Galaxy will probably sell more games just because it's more casual and all the casual gamers who have the Wii will buy it, along with all the real "gamers" because Mario is still one of Nintendo's biggest cards in it's hand. Also the E rating inevitably attached to all the Mario games makes it's audience unlimited.

Ok...so jet fuel burns at 1700 degrees. So the real question is, if you instantaneously ignite a full tank of jet fuel, and that ignites whatever fuel there is inside of the building (we're talking tons of paper, wood, whatever chemicals are in any office equipment, insulation, the silly panels on the ceiling etc.), what kind of temperatures would we be talking about?

This is the reason why Halo 3 is so great....it's not perfect, but it's a party game, something you can do with your friends online or in person for fun.
With the most advanced games that are all about graphics you stop the game and say smugly "look how realistic it is!" or "Look how few jaggies there are".
But with Halo 3 you get wrapped into the gameplay so far that it's all about beating out your friends and even people you don't know and...

It's pretty amazing that everything is accurately represented from every angle to such a high degree, it says a lot for the design of the game. And being able to be back in the world, stopping the action and seeing exactly what happened is an amazing feature.

1U rackmount servers can range from $700-$5000 a piece, and carry some pretty serious power, so I'd say the PS3 is providing an important role, but relatively simple....Apple has had the technology to wire computers together electronically without even requiring a unit operating solely operating to link the computers together for quite a while now.

GT5 looks way better.
However, I've driven 3 different kinds of Porsches (964,997S, Boxster), 1 Ferrari (348TS), countless different types of Mercedes, and I autocross and take a Miata to the track...and I can very confidently say that Forza 2 plays more realistically than the GT5 Prologue demo.
But it doesn't look as good. If you're in it for screenshots and videos at the cost of semi-realistic driving, GT5 is the ticket.

As a car guy I think it's exciting....too bad I really don't have any other reason to buy a PS3 though, except for this game so far. I can't justify shelling out 500 bucks when I could be putting springs and shocks in my real car.
900 cars is exciting, because that's the only area where Forza 2 is lacking in comparision to GT5 besides in car views and over the top graphics.
But gameplay beats graphics, so I really hope they get rid of the ridiculous floaty feel.....
Anytime you have more than a 2v2 game (and oftentimes even that small) with people you don't know people feel like they need to go off an be the lone wolf, not caring about the team...then it just comes down to people picking off other people's kills.

People need games they can trust to be great fun before they get into a console, and Sony hasn't given that yet.
Sure, RFOM and Ratchet may be great games, and there may be other good games in the PS3 lineup right now, but nothing is generating enough hype. Nobody really cared much about Ratchet or RFOM that much because they aren't industry big names.
