This was definitely the highlight of the presentation (for me at least). Very excited to see this project is still happening. FFX with improved visuals and trophies? YES PLEASE!
I just hope they will allow us to skip cutscenes, so I don't have to sit through that horribly awkward laughing scene. Ugh, if you've played it, you know what I'm talking about.
Nope, the Vita is not region locked. Import away my friend.
I'm not really a Monster Hunter fan, but I'd still like to see it on Vita. That would help the system a lot in Japan.
God Eater 2 and Soul Sacrifice look great tho.
Outside of the price drop, Final Fantasy X HD and Dragon's Crown. That presentation was a little boring to be honest. Soul Sacrifice looked great too.
Just wish there were new game announcements. Just happy to see that FFX HD is alive. Can't wait to play that.
I like what they're doing with the new controller.
We get our dual analog sticks and triggers, casuals get the touch pad and built-in move function. Hopefully they just treat it as a "hey, we have that too" type of thing, and not force it as the primary way to play games.
If they are building move function into the new controller, its probably going to play a pretty big role in what they're doing tho.
Absolutely true. I do think that Sony has a few other properties that could be 5+ million sellers if they just advertised them. I think Killzone could EASILY be their best selling IP outside of Gran Turismo if they advertised it on the level that we saw Assassin's Creed III this year.
Awesome, hope they release a PS2 video tomorrow.
They should release one each day leading up to the event on the 20th.
15th - PSone
16th - PS2
17th - PSP
18th - PS3
19th - Vita
20th - PS4
How do you know they'll make you rebuy your games? They could look at the trophy list on your PSN account and just let you play all of those games.
Not saying that's gonna happen, lets at least wait until something is announced.
I don't think the success or the failure of the Wii U hinges on what Sony will do this generation. Nintendo is, once again, targeting a different market than the PlayStation is. If Nintendo wants to sell the Wii U, they need to drop the price and get Mario and Zelda on that thing ASAP.
Still holding out hope for Crash DLC.
Why does Microsoft feel the need to be taking these jabs at Sony lately? What does the 360 offer as an entertainment console that the PS3 doesn't have? Tell us Microsoft... and please don't use the word Kinect.
Sony doesn't charge you to play games online, they don't charge you to access content that you're already paying for (like Hulu and Netflix) and they absolutely obliterate you when it comes to software and that's not even up for debate.
#6 is okay but I'm not crazy about any of them, really.
That actually looks kind if legit to me. Of course that would be a watered down version of what the final product will look like. Remember the Vita dev kits?
Buzz Killington over here, jeez.
Forgot all about this game until about a week ago.
Nothing we didn't already know, but I like hearing it anyways.
@xurz
I said $500 is too expensive because it would be a mistake for Sony to price it that high. Not because I'll only get one if its $300. If you care about Sony at all, like I do, then you should also be hoping they price the PS4 reasonably. Because they may not be able to recover from another botched launch like they did last time.
I'm getting one at launch regardless of price. I've already started saving for one. Don't appreciate the condescending ...
This. I don't think there is a whole lot Sony can do to combat the success of the 3DS.
I agree those could be launch titles, but $500 is too expensive IMO. I'm thinking $400 max, maybe a $299 model with a smaller HDD.
The second I heard it, instantly brought a smile to my face.
