So your saying that Halo is copying COD in the article in which the lead designer explicitly says "We're not copying COD". I think I believe him.
The faster pace probably comes from the fact that we are playing as Spartan IV's rather than Spartan III's and Im not too worried about perks. They are probably all unlocked from the beginning to maintain Halo's legendary balance.

Gotta say, I thought these would be your run-of-the-mill improvements that we've seen in so many other mods, but damn, if those aren't some insane character models.

Exactly, don't know why you are getting disagrees. Say something negative about a Sony exclusive and you have "stupid" opinions. And I'll say it again because not many people seem to get it- just because it had a bad ending doesnt mean its a bad game. Halo 2 had such a bad ending it probably made every owner want to burn down their house in frustration, but it was still one of the best games ever made. Same goes for Metal Gear games.

I know what you mean. But that's why you should play a couple games and make friends with the people that ARE still playing Gears. Many of my current friends have moved on to Skyrim and the like, so I went and made friends with the many others who are still playing. Afterall, it's still crazy populated.
Heck, if you're desperate and don't like making firends the hard way, hit me up with a fr. :D

The 360 has barely any exclusives. Seeing as I buy like 5 games a year, and 3 of them are awesome multiplats, I'm actually okay with only 2 or 3 exclusives.

And as for people complaining they mark up the price to almost double what they give you for it... Read this, its NOT exactly a unique phenomena. Especially when your running a business, not a charity.
