Ah...I was hoping they were going to compare the PC version with the 360 version.
I already own the PC version of HL2 (bought the $100 platinum version) and Episode 1.
Doesn't matter. I'm still buying it. Yes...it is THAT good. Halo (1 2 or 3) can't begin to touch it (well, halo 3 closed the gap a LITTLE bit)
Uhm, I don't think you will find TOO many 360 fans that won't concede that the PS3 has the better hardware. But as we all know the hardware is only as good as the games it can play. And all 3 systems have EXCELLENT games to play.

With something like that I dont think ANYONE would know it happened until AFTER the match and they watched the video.

For once I have to disagree with you.
The physics in this game (and this doens't even qualify as a good example of a complex physics engine) doesn't have any impact on the gameplay at all.
Take a game like half-life 2 and bioshock to name just two, and the physics actually impact the gameplay.
You don't need havoc to do what halo 3 does, which is mostly just for ragdoll after a death and explosions.

That was so amazing that I almost retract my statement about the physics in halo 3 being worthless.
Not if it plays worse on the PS3 than the 360 (and vice versa).

On an even greater scale for me was Half-Life 2. I would replay sections of the game MANY times to make sure I kept all my NPC support alive. I would always somehow feel responsible for keeping them alive. If one died it actually made me feel something.
Some people have no idea what they have been missing if they have never played half-life 2. Oct 10th is going to be a good day. It should have received the attention halo 3 (unecessarily) had.
