now if this game relied heavily on multiplayer, this would be an issue because people would need multiple wii motion +'s
but considering wii motion+ is being bundled with a WII SPORTS game.. the market will not be small
now throw in the fact that the original red steel was a million seller and ubisoft actually marketed the game.. the only reason it won't be as popular is because there is a larger selection of games to choose from now.. but not many single player focused fps games ...
Boom Blox? are you for real? that's a severely underrated gem
I didn't even know a sequel was releasing until recently
and NMH is hyped and hated for all the wrong reasons
Deadly Creatures? The hype for that is so minimal, it's marginally higher than the even less talked about Mushroom Men.. this game is completely over shadowed by Mad World
I see Punchout as a pretty highly talked about game
Captain Rainbow gets so much less attention than say Fatal Frame IV or ...
there is some footage out already, I just saw the trailer
considering it uses wii motion + it doesn't seem like they can screw up the controls this time.. just sucks no MP
I'd like to see the hoverboard character return as well
this is a must have title considering there's not really any co op brawlers.. my gf is tired of playing co op shooters.
really like the makeover though, finally capcom is listening and making a game that belongs on the wii
i used to think the ds was harder to hack, as time went on, it was actually much easier than the psp
yes, you do need to buy something.. but it's easier for the general audience to do that than it is to learn how to hack the psp.. and i used to do it back with the memory swap trick.. now i don't even pick my psp up anymore the games on it are watered down console games and the features seem like even more of a gimmick than the ds believe it or not
my friend actually bought a psp d...
MS has never impressed me at e3
getting ff13, great i'm all on board.. but it's not as cool as some real exclusives would be
i was a huge TM fan, even had Small brawl
I actually skipped out on Black but picked up Head On for the PSP
1 is actually a very broken game in every aspect
2 is the clear best and only decent game of the bunch, 3, 4 and SB were garbage that brought nothing new to the series
by the time Black came out I had already had enough, there wasn't much reason I'd want to play this game anymore, the best part were the easter eggs
I'm sick of the game now tho...
give me some sort of commercial advertising on my ipod then, I'll sit through whatever crappy ads they'll make me listen to so long as I can keep downloading music while supporting artists
I support bands by seeing them live which they get a lot more of a cut from than they do from their albums
I never took my dreamcast online personally
Wii online has a pretty vital role in the system considering the Wii Ware/Virtual Console and Channels .. I refuse to pay for xbox live so I'd rather suffer through the wii online multiplayer than deal with being milked
I was actually in the opposite situation Wiimanic.. I bashed nintendo when I owned a psx, once I played Mario 64 I grew up but I didn't personally own a nintendo console until the wii.. took borrowing a friends GC to get...
i feel like i'm watching fox news when I hear all this wii hate
it can't be real, can it
"Advertisers will shell out loads of cash to get there name and/or product out there to the masses. Modern games like GTA, Burnout, and Mirrors Edge can easily have in game adds without interrupting gameplay. Other games can do things like have a McDonald's loading screen or have power ups like The Doritos elixir or the Coca Cola healing potion."
this is exactly what I was saying, if people want to pay for games sure let them have the game w/o sponsorship
but now ...
i don't like gta iv or the psp editions , i actually like CTW because it's fun
if you think the ds lacks core titles you're smoking plastic
i actually am selling my dreamcast for $40
but sega really failed by going too hardcore and having a conflict between regions, too many addons and they were done by the time saturn launched
and that's really the mystery considering the saturn could have been everything the psx was and more
if you try to always appeal to hardcore gamers you're bound to fail, but if you have mass market appeal by using the convergence strategy you can do pretty good... dunno what's taking the ...
so true
i hate wii hate just because it sounds like me when i was 11
some people need to grow up, i hated nintendo with a passion for several yrs
then i played my older brothers n64 and i stopped going to system wars to bash them unreasonably.. then when i quit console gaming during the ps2 era.. and I owned a ps2 with a lot of games, it took borrowing a friends GC to get me back into console gaming
the wii is the first nintendo console I own, and after skipping out on...
did anyone make this joke yet? I know guns are not funny but
if this kid was smart, he would use the gun to STEAL the psp .. not trade for it, stupid
wasn't there a family matters episode with like a toys for tots giveaway except they were trading guns for toys.. I think someone got shot after this guy had a ton of guns in the trunk of his car.. what show was this
I hate wii bashing because it reminds me of when I was 11 yrs old
The wii is the first nintendo console I was compelled to buy personally
exclusives are a no brainer, and not just grabbing games like tekken 6 or DLC.. how about some original ips, and diversify the genres.. that doesn't mean it has to be family friendly like they've seemed to go but some platformers wouldn't hurt either.. how about somebody come up with a co op splitscreen brawler... or get some quirky japanese games
the second key is dropping the online fees.. i'll suffer whatever advertising you throw at me to just not have to be milked for online
that's the catch 22
I like not having to buy anything, but I don't like not having any other gimmick to enhance the game
I'd rather play phase personally
seriously, it seems paid off
this is not credible journalism, they sound like the mouthpiece of gamestop
this game has a lot more potential than the original
1) one of the few probs with the original was the controls and glitches.. this game has been in development much longer, isn't being rushed out for launch, and uses wii motion +
2) the tacked on multi also hurt the original.. this one is focusing exclusively on single player
3) it's practically a different game and really shows the potential of wii motion+.. another issue ppl complained about was no mixed shooting/sword fi...
