What a stupid article, especially this part
"The advent of the internet and peer-to-peer apps like Napster and Limewire all but destroyed the music records industry"
For WHO?? The music industry or the consumer?? The iTunes model has completely changed the industry as well. The music industry was already dying long before the internet, maybe next you'll mention the down fall of radio thanks to casette tapes.
If the consumer is going to ...
It's very similar to Bayonetta. Now check out the track record for the dev, do you really think they can compete with Platinum? I'm sure the game will not play all too similar but don't tell me they didn't get some inspiration from Bayonetta. Fanboys..
No. If I'm too cheap to buy new games, I'm not going to buy one just because I earned some money selling my used ones. Unless I can dedicate to myself to beat the game ASAP, it's just a race against the clock for how quickly the game loses value. When I'm tight for cash, I'm going to simply wait for the game to drop in price (which is very fast if the game doesn't sell millions of units instantly) and I'll still buy it used in order to maximize my own savings. ...
I think the author is an idiot.
Seriously, TWEWY all the way!!!!
and FF CRISIS CORE!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? WHAT!?!?!?!
Get the Eff out of here with this list, I knew before I even clicked it what to expect and I really hate the direction RPGs have been going lately. I wouldn't play half of those generic games.
and ME2 over ME if we're talking story here, no way.
don't forget that it's doing double the work to generate the game in 3d...
seriously, if you have a disc that is not working try licking it
this is the best solution for scratched discs
I had an awful portable cd player back in the day. My friend wouldn't let me borrow his CDs because he knew my player had the battery cover under the CD that always pops out and scratches discs.
My entire library is pretty messed up, but licking the discs is a good temporary solution similar to the whole blowing in the cart ritual
It's easily the best TF game ever but that's not saying much (Ever play Beast Wars? I spared myself from the Beast Machines game luckily)
This game got a 6.5 on GS with good reason. After playing the full game once I was able to understand. My main complaint is the scarce ammo slowing down the pace.
DS library is greater. I've played the majority of what both platforms have to offer.
Please don't list FF:CC as even a "decent" game, it's complete garbage. Play The World Ends With You and then come back and talk about handheld RPGs.
update from Joystiq
Sega confirms Sonic 4 developed by Sonic Team and Dimps
"This isn't the first time that Dimps has partnered with a well-known team to develop a game based on a classic franchise -- it worked with Capcom to create Street Fighter IV -- nor is it a stranger to the Sonic universe, having worked on the Sonic Advance series for GBA, Sonic Rush and its sequel for DS and level design for the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed."
this is bad news?
SR and SRA 82 and 80% on GR
Sonic The Hedgehog 48%
Sonic And The Secret Rings 70%
Sonic Unleashed 67%
Sonic And The Black Knight 55%
i've been effing saying this for months
why should I foot the bill for devs to work on features I don't even get access to.
then you'd have a more polished game if the other "half" of it isn't just tacked on for a bullet point.
Crisis Core.. but no TWEWY?
how can people fall for this natal hype? it's not going to be practical for traditional games at all. it's not as accurate as the wand/wiimote for wrist motions. Can you imagine multiple players for these camera controlled devices also.
You'd think MS would learn from Sony's eyetoy. I own an eyetoy actually (and I own a 360, no ps3 though) but I have more confidence in Sony's motion device. Though I still think an analog stick would do it even better.
I think traditional games can be great mixed with motion/pointer controls. It's a shame they have to resort to something arcade style to take advantage of the wand. Sounds like Sony may have another EyeToy problem if devs don't want to use this device that is able to work quite well with traditional style games.
You people supporting him, saying "duh all corporations are in it for the money" you would think a person of mixed minorities would have some damn sympathy. South Park is a show that earns money and they still take shots that get them in hot water all the time, even with their own staff and sponsors.
You're basically supporting children working in 3rd world countries making pennies an hour by saying I have no right to complain that he is a terrible person. "DUH it's cap...
They're putting out a bad message by sticking with him
Then again, it's EA who is also known for scandal.
For the record, my dislike of Tiger has less to do with his relationship and more to do with his own sponsorship and endorsements. You would think someone like him would speak up about unfair practices but he's only in it for the money just like EA.
I'm going to say Bayonetta will be superior in gameplay to GOW3
Maybe not in story, bosses or even graphics
But this is Platinum games(of God Hand and Madworld) and the creator of DMC we are talking about. All you need is Itagaki and you have the hack and slash dream team.
Then again I'm not a huge GOW fanboy, it gets old pretty fast for me.
i don't even own a ps3 (only wii, pc and 360) and I think natal is a joke
you can't do anything outside of arcade style games without buttons and that's where sony has got it right
Are you really going to use a controller while using Natal? Sounds like an inconvenience having to put the controller down to make gestures whenever.
It is especially inaccurate for wrist motions such as for tennis or sword fighting according to IGN.
It's going to suffer the same fat...
What are you talking about? My PC is hooked up to my TV through HDMI and you are aware wireless controllers exist for the PC, no? Please educate yourself
Why does it hurt you so much inside that PC games will be able to also enjoy GTA V?
