It's a single player game, any options that can help people enjoy the game in their own way is a good thing and does not in any way impact your own enjoyment of the game.
But double the framerate. from 30 to 60 with enhanced visuals
This logic would make sense if we had not seen loads of games from studios big and small providing next gen updates for free. Doom just updated to include ray tracing on next gen consoles, didn’t charge a dime for it.
Borderlands 3, elder scrolls online, stellaris, assassins creed, sea of thieves, Overwatch, Ark..
Did I make my point? No?
Okay how about; division 2, avengers, Star Wars Jedi fallen order, remnant, Halo MCC, Outerworlds, ...
"I'm not a fanboy"
"Anything PS5 is a breathe of pure air"
Hmm...
I don't know about that.. lots of 505 games have been multiplatform and may are even on Game Pass. Synomonous with PlayStation feels like a bit of a stretch, they have been playing the field.
I mean they were even at Microsoft's E3 presentation with Eiyuden Chronicale and announced Game Pass launches for both games.
I think Kojima is happy being independent. I'd be surprised if he sold to anyone after the Konami buisness.
Ooo don't play with my heart like that.. I'd love a Bloodborne remake!
If this is true I'd love to see what they can do developing a new game from the ground up rather that updating old games. Really impressive studio and a great acquisition for Sony if true
Great buy, Hosemarque is a good studio, I'm excited to see what they can do with Sony's full backing
I think I get your logic, but there is a difference between purchasing a studio and a publisher.
Also we have no idea what was going on in negations. There could have been a bidding war for Zenimax for all we know. Microsoft is a powerful corporation, I cannot fathom a world where they didn’t have a large negotiation team working to get the best deal possible on that acquisition.
Halo Infinite multiplayer is free to play.
Also are you implying that a battle pass is a subscription?
Okay. Have fun.
I could use some more clarification on the protagonists motivation.. Does he, or does he not want to kill chaos? The trailer was unclear.
aw seriously? instanced loot would have been a much appreciated update..
How can you murder that which doesn't exist?
You know.. because the Xbox Series doesn't have a Hard Disk..
I'll see myself out.
Microtransactions are only cosmetic, and there will be rewards that are completely free and unlocked via gameplay. An example provided was the neat samurai armor we saw in the trailer, won't cost you a dime to unlock that.
The business model is a lot better than Stadia.. Though I'm still waiting on some heavy hitting games from Amazon Studios, they have had a rough start.
Here are the facts:
1) If you have a next gen console, you are getting a considerably upgraded gaming experience. Doubling the performance of a game is not an insignificant upgrade, just look at how improved God of War, Sekiro, or Ghosts of Tsushima is on PS5. Transformative. Could it be even better if the game was designed exclusively for ps5? Sure! But you're still getting a next generation experience on these games. full stop. Ray Tracing in Spiderman just can't...
Series X. On ME1 the reflections update at 30fps rather than 60fps. I'm fully aware this is a nitpick, but just go to Flux on the Citadel, look at the reflections in the window, move your character and camera around and come back here and tell me that wasn't bad. It reminds me of the 30fps animations on enemies in Halo 5.
This was highlighted on the Digital Foundry review as well, they believe it was an oversight so I'm holding out hope for a patch to fix.
Fortnite revenue is down massively this quarter. The decrease in content and services revenue is attributed to that. Such is the juggernaut that is Fortnite, love it or hate it.
