I think the graphics overall look fine, it's the stupid holographic floating weapons that really bother me. Every time I see or comment on this I feel like I'm overly nit picking.. But I hate them SO much. they take up way too much of the screen, they just follow the player around.. It just looks horrible.
I hope this doesn't come across as a nit pick.. but the big holographic floating weapons behind all four characters just.. smoothly following them around.. I think it looks dumb and drags down the visuals overall for me substantially. the clutter... It just looks so dumb.
Dota 2 console announcement in 3...2....
This game had my family rolling on the floor cracking up. It's terrible, it runs horribly, it's just a mess.
And I recommend it as a must download on gamepass. It might only last you an hour, but it's a hilarious hour, worth your time for sure.
Are we cool with cgi trailers now? Really?
It's an open world game. How many open world games have you played lately that let you replay individual story missions?
Not to defend this, I do think they should have had that mode, but.. It's not like a I can load up Assassins creed, Skyrim, God of War, Horizon.. and pick individual story missions.
looks like the terrible pop in from Black Desert is still in this (they pan the camera up so it's harder to notice in the video, and only do still or slow moving shots when it's panned down to hide it) Still the graphics otherwise are amazing. Glad they are taking the time to do this one right.
Such a cool game. The evolving mechanics in each level were impressive, visuals, flow, relaxing gameplay. Very cool!
I just wish the story was less abstract.
A longer time to kill is what makes halo unique, this absolutely should not change. It’s not call of duty, plan out your engagement better and maintain the pressure
Since I’m getting dislikes I guess I should explain. The dlss system in nvidia chips uses dedicated AI tensor cores. No amd chip currently has anything like that so you’re not going to get AI upscaling tech on current gen systems at DLSS levels of quality. Best you can hope for is a post processing sharpening feature like AMDs FSR.
So. Dislike that all you want, but anything remotely compatible to DLSS won’t happen until PS5 pro or later. Needs new hardware. Sorry folks.
Something like dlss is powered by dedicated hardware, so that would need a PS5 pro or something to be viable. Still I’d love to see Sony go all in on a post processing solution of some kind like Fidelity
It uh.. absolutely does have a battle royal mode.. Theres so much in this game I’m not sure what more folks want.
Title. ‘Will get’
Description. ‘Could get’
Hmmm.
Do you remember how this website reacted when the Epic store launched? PC gamers are not receptive to additional launchers.
Finally there does not exist a universe in which Sony would support a cross buy solution between pc and PlayStation. Their entire motivation for investing in pc is for additional sales, they want you to double dip.
I have no doubt that they would want to have their own launcher, but look at other publishers that have pulled this off....
Microsoft is betting big on the cloud. With all their developers working to put new content on game pass that can all be played from their xcloud servers.
VR games do not currently work over the cloud, so any specific development in that area would slow cloud friendly content production.
It’s that simple.
At this point I think it’s only a matter of time before we see concurrent PlayStation/pc releases. We’ll see of course but.. mobile, PC, cloud.. these platforms are growing fast, especially in eastern markets. I don’t see Sony prioritizing console sales at the expense of potential game revenue long term.
But. We’ll see. This is a whole new world.
Have you been to their website? They are already selling out. The dark plates are on back order until January now.
It’s very clearly working, and people very clearly care. Like it or hate it, this kind of headline grabbing marketing is indisputably effective.
It’s all marketing. This is the number 1 story on this website and others, precisely due to the challenges and buzz they have made over it. They will sell so much more product doing this than they would have if they quietly released something.
It’s all to generate clicks and make sales, and it’s absolutely working out for them so much better than your proposed solution.
Perhaps one of the best headlines I’ve seen on this site.
Totally agree, hopefully if this game is considered a success the sequel can have some voice talent.
This is getting closer to my ideal design for a mobile controller. many of the current options are too small! My hands feel cramped shortly into play sessions. I'd love just a regular xbox controller, cut in half, with the cell phone in the middle. this is basically that so, I'm onboard!
