Not *every* adult is interested in war and death. Some people like relaxing things. Weird, I know.
Personally, I don't pay for themes. They're insane for asking for money if you ask me.
What I would be supportive of, would be that if you buy a game, you get a/the theme for free. If you haven't bought the game, but still want the theme, then you pay. That seems fair to those who are actually spending real money on their games, and give those who don't want them, acce...
**cough**bullshit**cough**
Since when To Thank == ask me for more?
There, fixed.
That there is plenty of content that will not carry over to a DIFFERENT PS3, right ? ie. Saves.
Is that SquareSoft was epic. Enix was epic. Those two companies, apart, made absolutely epic games. But this Squeenix thing, has been, in my opinion, a very huge Epic Fail. They kill almost everything they touch. How does that even work ?
DLC is *not* a great idea. It's a horrible idea. Well, I suppose it's a great idea if your a corporation who wants to bleed the consumer dry while providing poor/inferior/unfinished products.
This "Keeping the game alive" bull crap is just that, bull crap. It's all marketing. If you have content, why hold it back ? Not enough space ? Bull ! Ok, let's say it's an after thought, why not add it into a sequel or incorporate it in a new game ? Why is DLC so good for consumer...
The only way to fix the problem is to stop buying the content.
Downloadable Content is a cancer of video games. It will dilute both the single and multi-player experience until both are a shell of their former selves. It will eat at them until there is nothing left to call a "game". We will be paying full price for bare bones experiences and have to buy into content at higher prices (how much is Rock Band retail compared to buying the equal amount of songs via DLC ?). ...
Ummm...yeah, Microsoft has that patent too... aren't patents great !
"GameCube -> Wii loses GameCube ability, but you can download some of older games "
Are you saying the new Wii's don't have GameCube backwards compatibility ? Sorry, don't get the statement.
"do people in the press think we're all dumb?"
They're counting on it. Like sheep man, like sheep....
EDIT: Personally, if/when they release a "slim version" I doubt it will look exactly like the current model only slimmer, it will probably have an aesthetic redesign too.
ROFLMAO !!!! Oh, that's just freakin' great, I had a wonderful laugh at that. Do you really believe that tripe they feed you (or you spew out) ? Just like the RIAA says that piracy is killing the music industry and the MPAA says that piracy is killing the movie industry...yet albums and movies continue to smash records. Feed it to someone else bub, because this guy ain't no naive, mindless consumer, like some in this world. How much money has Guitar Hero and Rock Band earned ? Yeah, piracy is...
I find myself divided but in this case, sorry just doesn't cut it. Releasing a crappy port then apologizing for it, being humble, is one thing, but Gabe has consistently belittled the Playstation Brand, and its user base....FOR YEARS. Now he comes out and says he's sorry... why ? He's seen the light ? Yeah, I doubt it. Like my High School teacher used to say, "Don't be sorry, just don't do it" which basically means, actions speak louder than words, if you're truly sorry, then fix it...
The Orange Box was *NOT* developed by Valve, it was developed by EA. Valve (including Gabe) has little to no experience on the PS3, they let someone else do the dirty work. In fact, Doug Lombardi has said, "We have to get people under our roof who are dedicated, talented PS3 guys and then all bets are off." He also said, "we did Half-Life on PS2 with an outside company and then we did Orange Box PS3 with an outside company. We weren’t able to deliver the same type of product on...
To the PC is that I can just pirate all the Valve games to my hearts content, something that can't be done on the PS3. If Valve doesn't want my money, fine with me.
That Gabe's fat arse exceeds the weight limit of the Balance Board. :P
The *ONLY* reason, I believe, that Microsoft supported the HD-DVD drive was not because it thought it could win, but rather to stall the victory of Blu-Ray (which I'm sure didn't work out quite the way they wanted it to).
Microsoft understood that if Blu-Ray took hold immediately, then there would be throngs of consumers going to the PS3, consumers that would otherwise be 360 owners. However, if MS countered that by offering their own "Next Gen-High-Def" product, it cou...
I'm on my 3rd PS3 (2nd replacement). Bought at launch, first one replaced in about 6 months due to plenty of games locking up. Second replacement about a year later, video died, and not very gracefully either I might add, which I had to pay almost 200 bucks to repair (I'd be damned to lose my 60GB, with the PS2 guts)
I've had my 360 since Christmas and I can count the times it's locked up on one hand. I did have a little trouble with Viva Pinata:TIP, but it appears to have been c...
When I play the 360, I feel like *I'm* playing it. It does the things *I* want it to do.
When I play the PS3, I feel like *It's* playing me. I have to *hope* that a certain feature is enabled in a particular game.
"Stop living in this damn PS3 bubble and learn to accept reality. I had to, which is why I gave the PS3 up and it has been boxed in the closet for over... six months now."
This has been the hardest thing for me to do, but now that I have, I couldn't be happier playing my 360.
The thing is that the 360 provides a unified structure. ALL games have Achievements, ALL games let me listen to custom soundtracks, ALL games allow me to have voice chat, even if my fr...
This article must have been written by a zombie. It's the only explanation why someone would think, "Zombies are boring." They're trying to distract us from the upcoming zombie apocalypse. That's OK, I'm part of the Zombie Resistance, I've read, "The Zombie Survival Guide," TWICE and I have used these many, "Zombie Killing Simulators," to hone my zombie killing abilities. I say, keep the zombie games coming. The apocalypse could happen at any moment. Be prepared....
