I'm not sure why everyone is trying to bash you about your comment, maybe it's because somewhere inside their minds they know what you said is true. Sony has been humbled, but only slightly. They forced this new technology onto people with a hefty price tag thinking it will be sold because it says Sony on it. Guess what, it didn't work.
I agree, it seems to be a desperate attempt to sell systems but I'm happy to see it.

They can't really include it because it's not known what the people are buying the PS3 for. It could be that they have no intention of playing movies in them or some people may not even know that they can play blu-ray. I'm sure that some people are buying them just for the player because it's a pretty good deal.
It's nice to have a choice if you want BC or not. But I thought that was Sony's big thing... I don't know.. Does it really cost that much to have the Backward Compatability?

But I agree with you it is a very pretty game and other than not having a jump ability I think it probably should have gotten better scores.

Dude go get it, the game is awesome. If your listening to what these people are saying, never do that. The majority of people on here are sony brats that are afraid to try anything on another system because they may like it. Here's a question... why would I want to pay $1000 for a gaming system? Because if Sony has no competition then that's exactly what will happen. My case in point, when Sony announced the price of their PS3 they were so arrogant to think that people will buy it because it's says Sony on it. I think Little Big Planet will do good. It's new, innovative and cute. Not sure of it's lasting appeal though, just have to wait and see. As for Home... I just don't see the point. I have a video game console to play video games not to chat it up and from what I read about the PSN it's not as intergrated as Live. In Live you can message, send invites, or chat on any game or across games with out exiting the game you are currently playing. If I'm wrong about PSN not being able to do that ...
I disagree with you about the graphics, I'm going to say I think they are better. Halo has a HUGE color scheme unlike Gears of War. I've only had time to play a little of the first level but I was amazed. The lighting through the trees is awesome I love it. I loved Gears for it's style also, dark and gritty but It's environments are not as expansive as Halo's.
How is Killzone a blockbuster? It truly doesn't belong with the other ACTUAL blockbusters you listed. Killzone one sucked ass I expect the second shall do the same suckage.
