i'm playing it now. and while the controls are annoying, and the gameplay itself is not great; i still feel compelled to keep playing. it has a lot of good qualities too. i would definitely be interested in a sequel.
it's funny, i see some of the most boring, bland games get so much praise on this site. but when a company attempts something ambitious, and they make it multiplatform, people can't wait to slam it.
they need to work out the optimizing a little better. lotta ati users reporting inconsistent frame-rate issues. my comp struggled a lot with the intro (causing me to get killed about 20 times). but after that intro sequence with the dragon, things improved.
i don't get it...
infamous 2 looks good by comparison, but the first one looked downright bad. it wasn't as bad as prototype's graphics, but it certainly wasn't pretty. so many things looked the same and lacked detail. the cars, the people, the enemies (excluding the bosses n such), etc..
when the characters moved, they looked like robots...even the jaws, neck, and eyes moved, talked, and blinked mechanically.
it's cool...

I'm sure anyone with the mental capacity of a person over the age of 13 SHOULD realize that this guy is a self-proclaimed spokesperson for a group that isn't officially even a group, and that his word and his position mean absolutely nothing.
i prefer my 360 to ps3, and definitely buy more overall 360 games than ps3 games, and even i own all these games.
i understand both sides of the argument. i also think sony very deliberately chose these titles knowing that they'd both be appreciated, and not over-downloaded (hence bogging down the system).
either way...eh. the free month of ps plus is cool, but i think they should have done that anyway just to show ppl what they might be missing. that ...
I had it freeze within the first 5 minutes of installing it on my ps3. tried to open the social club, screen went black, music got stuck on a 3 second loop.
has been fine ever since though.

only noobs think the sawed off is OP. it has no range, i has a slow reload, you get one shot at a time, and you get 4 bullets. regular shotgun is a much better, more versatile weapon. u mad cuz u bad.

Portal 1 was innovative...Portal 2 not so much. and i don't see how brink is innovative. there are 3 elements to brink: customizability, free running, and class based team FPS. all have been done elsewhere, and much better. it wasn't a bad idea to combine them, but the execution was so bad i just can't imagine thinking of this game as innovative (though i did think of it that way before i actually played it).

if they don't have this up n running by tuesday, i might have to get la noire on 360 instead. i heard there's a online component that's pretty cool, and i'd hate to miss that.
unfortunate though, cuz ps3 was the lead platform so it'll probably perform better.
so the first one is worth checking out? too bad witcher 2 preorder on steam doesn't come with a free witcher like they do with a lot of games. that would be great.
