I was gonna get the Black Box. I already have HL2, HL2: Episode 1! I don't need to buy those games all over again just so I can get Episode 2. I can't believe ValvE did this. We, pc gamers were supposed to be there first priority as always, but I guess there priorities has changed. *sigh*
It's alright, since I can still buy the HL2: Episode 2, Portal, and TF2 content on Steam anyways.
This looks really good, but doesn't compare to the CryENGINE 2.
This game was originally for PC, then it was announced for 360. Now, it's also for PS3. So it was originally for us, PC gamers.
Wow! I really do like the blue paint job, but I'd have to agree with USMChardcharger. You don't know what could happen to your system on its way down there and back. But I do like the paint jobs, nevertheless.

Actually, PC gaming is just starting up with DX10. You'll see from now on, anything made for DX10 will look better than anything from the 360. Don't worry about the PC market, it's doing great. :)
I'd say you're getting 16FPS for this game because:
1. Vista/Nvidia drivers are not so hot right now for DX10
2. Your processor is inferior to C2D
3. You probably have the game at 4xAA and you really only need 2xAA
BTW, I downloaded the demo too, but for DX9. I had everything turned up too at 1280 x 960, but had it at 2xAA. I had an average 36FPS.
I love the level of detail of DX10 over DX9. The third video was absolutely amazing. This is just THE BEGINNING OF DX10!!!
I downloaded the demo last night, and I must say it looked pretty damn good. I already knew what to do, since I already beat the game on my friend's 360, but I still had fun. :) I'm getting this next month. Yay! ^.^

Some 360 fans are so full of themselves. "360 has some DX10 features." Well guess what? the PC platform was built from the ground up for DX10. Obviously, the PC version WILL BE the best. Like you all complain that the PC platform is "too expensive," this shows that we'll be playing the game at it's highest level of detail, with DX10 videocards, for a little more green paper. >:] Which makes no difference to me.
Once this game comes out and there's screens...

Gaming PCs don't even cost $5000 without some sort of expensive-ass paintjob. Actually, now-a-days you can build A KICK ASS gaming PC that'll cost you AT THE MOST $3000. Obviously PC gaming is NOT for everybody. So stop your complaining.
