It's not just an FPS shooter to walk around and shoot on a screen. It literally puts you in a WARZONE to combat and accomplish missions during the shoot-out. Physics are so damn realistic man. Graphics are by far the best FPS to notice. You can dump God of War 2's graphics with them too. K2 is too realistic for a game.
Edit -- The BETA is around 500 MB. Compressed game as well since it is BETA. The real game is uncompressed ... Blu-ray will take care of it.
MGS IV is PS3 exclusive. Those who have not played the game. Be sure to LOOK AT THE INSTALLATION screen. It reads the game was developed ONLY on the PS3, and can ONLY be played on the PS3. Second of all, they made fun of the PS2 and 360's limited capacity.
For the record, people ... MGS IV uses full-scale CG real-time gameplay. NOT your typical Unreal Engine 3 or anything similar to it. Each character is over 500,000 polygons rendering smoothly at NO lag in an area with what .....

There is nothing like K2 on the market right now. CoD5 is a joke next to it. CoD6 needs a better realistic gameplay, characters, graphics, physics, and sound in order to take the crown away from K2. This is how amazing K2 is ...

Either way, 360 was beating PS3 because of two major things. 1) 360 price cut, and 2) PS3 over there is WAS 40GB ... I believe NOW they changed to 80GB so people were just waiting for the 80GB to come out to take advantage of it.
the real battle begins here tho, we'll see how the sales will wind up next week.

Btw, Crysis is coming to the PS3 in 2009. As for Star Ocean 4, it'll probably come next year .. SE lost chunks and chunks of RPG fans with their behavior.

Not bad for 5-6 months after release of the game. They definitely need to change the way you sign up online and stuff like that. I got ticked off because of that. Wish it was as simple as R2 or CoD4 ... but its so damn complicated.
Very good online gaming tho if you haven't tried it. I like the music.
Should be a good game for the 360 fans. We got R2. And if you both systems, get both games (if you got the money/time).
This is 2nd phase of BETA and 3rd phase will be coming later on. Developers have the original game on-stand and they're fixing all the bugs on the full-game and pouring it into 3rd phase (and probably the last). So far the game is so damn good. <3 it.
