Aside from the native 4K 'fidelity mode' it's safe to say that the rest of the "visual enhancements" are negligible.
They're certainly not standout. This is the kind of shit you'd really need a magnifying glass to see.
Yes, Blokker, it is *called* a remaster. Calling a thing a thing doesn't make it that thing. What graphical enhancements are there to actually warrant labeling this a remaster?
@Mich
What improvements can you actually see? I'm genuinely curious; not trying to put you on the spot. Please tell me what has improved in terms of visuals.
What did they remaster? What visual enhancements have been added here?
It's a rerelease with an added game mode. It is not a remaster.
It's not a remaster.
If you're expecting an upgrade in the visual department you're not going to find it here. This isn't actually a remaster at all, it's a rerelease with an extra game mode being billed as a remaster.
Beautiful.
I haven't bought a game by EA since NHL 94 on Genesis. Actually, my parents bought that, but you know what I mean. Those games were bangers too.
The PS1 was probably the most exciting for me.
SNES, Sega CD, and everything else in the 90's were also very exciting. Just an exciting decade all around with some absolutely fantastic gaming.
Though I appreciate the new mode, I wish they had done more, visually speaking, with the campaign. Half of the joy for me is just being in the detailed world.
This is hardly a "remaster" at all. They've added very little graphically speaking.
Rich coming from you, Ninosan.
I'll take it and a new Metro game.
Just means they'll auto pop.
This line was entirely unnecessary in Alan Wake 2, and it was sprung on us right at the end so that the developers could get their little dig in at white people just before the credits rolled. It's disgusting - there was no reason for this line to be in the game.
Division and perpetuating racism is their secondary goal after making video games.
Currently in the process of moving to PC as well. It's exciting.
People have no shame anymore; what an absolutely moronic headline.
To be honest, I myself am not really bothered by the PS5's stubborn and somewhat constrained user interface. It's sleek, modern, functional, and it works quite well. What I'm taken aback by are some of the comments here telling people who desire a higher level of customization, particularly in terms of themes, that they're just Xbox groupies or trolls without a genuine grievance.
This is utterly asinine; people love customization and personalization. When yo...
The customization took a step back. It's not "way better" in terms of that - it's objectively worse.
You can play up how the SSD loads up each game's respective theme with musical accompaniment, but that's not what people want. Most people don't appreciate these changes and simply want their ability to apply themes like you could with PS4.
People want better customization, not to be condescendingly told that 'Well, this i...
Looks fantastic.
