i have no opinion on the Witcher3. Never played it and don't plan on it. Maybe you forget how well those games sold as new releases and as remasters. Also both were done as remasters for the millions and millions of Xbox 360 gamers that did not own a PS3 but wisely decided to jump off a sinking ship and to get on the SS PS4 and then got to play truly great games. So yes! TLOU remaster and the UC collection was something to get "lit" about while no matter what they do to the Tomb Raider game is not.....sorry.
I'm sorry but I don't get why anyone would care about a 2yr old game that's in the bargain bin and under preformed on all platforms. Are they really trying to get gamers to look at this and think "I got's to get's me a XB1X and a 4K tv"? I can see new games being used a a tool to sell but a 2 yr old game? WTF!

Hummm maybe the OG Xbox One 900p machine wasn't so bad after all. The new XB1X based on this example surely isn't worth the $500 upgrade plus cost of game.

Why would game Developers support the X1 when Microsoft doesn't support it. Microsoft has spent all their PR time and effort on the XB1X since E3 2016. You never here them talk at all about the OG XB1 or the Xb1S. Since holiday last year Microsoft has released a token exclusive in Halo Wars 2 that was forgotten the day after it released. Microsoft has XB1X tunnel vision and nothing else matters so when Microsoft starts supporting their platform with games maybe others will follow.

I agree with you I hope they do as well. I'd love to see what their 1st party can do with the power the XB1X has because I don't see 3rd party doing it for them or at least not for a couple more yrs if ever. Plus its their baby and they need to show what this thing can do with some "new" and exciting ideas with games.

I've spent around 300hrs is BloodBorne and loved it all and not once did I think "boy, this sure would be better with another 30fps". Media, gamers should stop crying like babies about 30fps on consoles or in other words stop slumming on consoles and start gaming on PC where in most cases if not all you can have the FPS that you want and apparently need. I think that if Horizon Zero Dawn and the Witcher 3 were released last gen nothing would change about how people feel about those 2 games. They would still be great games because of the story and game play.
