Yep its down all right, most of the features on XO are really reliable, but I have to say they need to sort out the party chat and friends list. The problem I mostly see is with the party chat, a friend will join the party and no one can hear them, the only fix seems to be a hard reset which resolves the issue. This has been going on for quite some time now and I'm surprised it hasn't been addressed yet.
My favorite's were RE2 and RE4. Hopefully they can get the franchise back on track.
Quantum Break looks amazing to, Bloodbourne might be the game that pushes me to get a PS4.
There are way to many games coming this year to even begin saying which ones are best, like you said they're not even out yet.
They are so well made and unique, there's not very many games that offer such diversity with each itteration, if only all games were made with such devotion.
A bit off topic, but I hope they ditch the cel shaded graphics for the new Wii u Zelda and go back to the more gritty look, like majoras mask and ocarina. Zelda is still one of the best gaming franchises IMO, every gamer should experience at least one of the many classics.
There are numerous articles and interviews where they stated otherwise, either way they have not communicated this properly to people. I could grab several articles where they are dead set against weapons and ammo being in airdrops, I won't bother though because I know you've no doubt seen them.
That's kind of harsh because it was blatantly said many times that certain items wouldn't be in the airdrops, it doesn't matter if its early access, people were lied to. Its like saying zero sympathy for anyone that pre orders a game, if they state certain things will be in the game or it does this or that then it should, otherwise its false advertising and just treating your customers like crap.
How do you know that its going to be epic? You're just as bad as the people bashing it, from what I have seen on the game so far the gameplay looks weak, graphics are great and I wouldn't have the foggiest if the story is any good.
It goes both ways, people are quick to bash it like you say, but people are quick to claim its going to be brilliant. I say everyone should hold off a bit longer and actually see if its any good.
The thing is people were told guns and other items wouldn't be in the airdrops, they tried to pull a fast one and the gaming community hit back hard. Let's be honest if it wasn't for the outrage they would of fleeced everyone. Thank the gaming community not Sony.
I think reviewers have a responsibility to be as honest as they can about a game because they have early access. They're there because of gamers and they should give accurate information or be as unbiased as they can. There are to many reviews nowadays that don't go into enough detail about the game and its just pure laziness. I will say though if a game gets trampled across the board its usually because its garbage.
Its your money you're spending so it doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks, I suppose it all depends on what you expect from the game. I expect games to be great for the price they charge, then again its all subjective and comes down to what you enjoy yourself.
I had some pretty negative things to say about the order the other day, it was mainly to do with that trailer that came across a bit desperate IMO. The graphics are really nice, but the gameplay doesn't look the best to me. Ryse was a nice looking game and not bad for a little one time play through, it just got real repetitive and lacked in variation regarding the gameplay.
The order could have a brilliant story and maybe the gameplay has more to it than has been shown, ...
I'd just like to put a point across about Evolve, it is more of a hardcore team based game, I think its actually very balanced but it requires communication and tactics. I find it to be very fun and engaging. Its never going to sell a load just because it isn't a casual type of game. I can't say I've used PS now but things will get better with it in time no doubt, it seems a lot of people don't like the pricing to much and maybe they could address that especially if there are inconsistencies with the games. Either way you get a trial and its not like you have to buy it if you don't like it.
The trouble is that you need someone that really knows how to play the monster properly, I played over 30 games with the monster and only lost 1, its no fun when its to easy and I do agree with you to a certain extent.
Evolve is a really good game when played as a team but it relies heavily on that fact. I can't see it really doing to great because its not like a lot of other multiplayer games where you can get by on your own or has a decent campaign to compliment it. Its a shame really because it has some great elements but it won't have mass appeal because it just don't have the content it probably needs.
Roll on Left 4 Dead 3 I say.
