Interesting observation. I initially rolled my eyes at this statement but it actually holds a lot of validity. I play games for the experience, not just to pass the time. If the game is 'good' then I enjoy playing it because it keeps me invested despite whatever gameplay setbacks there are. But if the game is just 'fun' then I will turn it on and be entertained for 20-30 minutes before the redundancy kicks in.
In the case with this article, Red Dead 2, like ...
'They're not the ones seemingly threatened & running out of their corners to try & downplay Nintendo & pat sony on the back here' Uhm, a couple weeks after Nintendo FINALLY beats ps4 in sales we get an article titled 'Nintendo Will Dominate 2019' that's EXACTLY what they're doing lol
Lmao you might be waiting awhile
I feel like I should break out a violin reading your hyperbole opinionated nonsense.
Oh dear lord, Nintendo has one solid month and you silly boys get so worked up. Playstation has had the upper hand nearly every single month since the switch released and it's been out 4 years longer. They would have to hold the momentum they had these last few weeks for an entire year, a consistency they haven't even been able to hold for a month yet until this past holiday season. Hold your horses you silly nintendards, Sony still has a half dozen huge games to release and haven'...
No spiderman? Hmmmmm
I do, only physical media I still buy. Only for collectors purposes like steelbooks/limited edition. But I dont even actually watch them I just redeem the digital code and watch that
They saw the tech as the future and invested in it at their own expense, losing around 260 dollars per console even at 600 dollars. Their reputation AND bank account took a huge hit over it. Initially the only response they got was condescending insults labeling ps3 as an 'overpriced media machine' and countless 'we dont need blu ray for games' type implications. Or people like those idiots who made that 'how you killed your brand' song.
It's so ...
I think mid gen upgrades are a weasel move but I still dont regret buying mine. Only wish it would have had the 4k blu ray player in it but after the disrespect they got with blu ray in the ps3 I can understand why they cut that corner.
Its called substance, if you just wanna mash buttons and blow shit up then no, TLOU isn't for you. But the gameplay was perfect for what the game was intended to be.
I get the exact feeling whenever there's a drool fest for bloodborne. A fun game but some people talk like it was revolutionary.
GTA 5, not a horrible game but light years away from the phenomenon it became. Soulless campaign, obnoxious characters with no identity or purpose other than to be as vulgar as possible. Online multiplayer and making multiple protagonists is the only thing I can see that was an actual improvement, but my God that games success is about as offensive as Justin Biebers popularity.
Lol walking simulator? Do you even know what that means? Uncharted 4 had some the be best gameplay and storytelling this whole gen.
What's the point of a remake if it looks the same as the original? Just like how there's already apparently heavy backlash that it doesn't use the classic camera. That was the most horrid control scheme that made ps1 games a chore. It's so silly, there's no pleasing everyone I guess.
You have a valid point there they should definitely ditch 'team blue', being that theyve more than doubled 'team green' sales for every destiny game to date....
Ps4 could definitely have sturdy legs going into ps5 cycle depending on game support and price. This gen has been fantastic for them they'd be foolish to cut support cold turkey come ps5 release
You must be an SJW bruh.......an SJW
What made the 360 special exactly? Other than price, the year head start and such focus on marketing rights it had absolutely no advantage over ps3. It introduced gears of war, that's about it. All the other great initial exclusives went multiplat like Bioshock, Mass Effect, Deadly Premonition etc. Took a whole gen for the U.S. in particular to open their eyes to the shallow brand they bought in to.
Ugh, no teases my anticipation cant take it
Yup, it's all a conspiracy bro, dont drink the koolaid!
