Touch pad in the end was about as relevant as the sixaxis. The overall shape of ds4 was better but get rid of the share button and the touch pad, and that obnoxious light bar.
This guy is freaking hilarious, he can make anything good. Still remember first seeing him for the first time in Friday After Next
Lol one of the biggest fanboy fibs this gen. I have five dualshock 4 controllers, two since launch and every single one still lasts at least 14 hours per charge
First, you completely disregarded my question as to what 'gameplay evolution' means, or what other developers are doing that takes this 'risk' you speak of that praised Sony developers aren't. Then you so hilariously and ironically call an excellent campaign redundant, a playthrough that at minimum is typically 15-20 hours or more. Which leads to the conclusion that was evident from the start that you tether replayability with multiplayer(solidified by your comment history...
This is the one area I'll admit Microsoft has the upper hand in. Cloud gaming isn't a threat to consoles themselves but definitely how they're traditionally viewed. I see Microsoft improving this tech more and more and predict them bowing out of the console market and working with Sony and Nintendo to implement the tech into their future consoles and collecting royalties from it.
@49miner
Lol as usual you continue to astound me with your intellectual responses. Try using all emojis next time it might make more sense that way.
Still undecided on this one, if it's just brainlessly mowing down hordes after hordes then I'm not spending more than 30 on it. Really hope they made a good story for this it has lots of potential.
What exactly do you mean by 'gameplay evolution'? Like change the core mechanics with every entry? Do you know how suicidal that would be? And enough with this 'cinematic' stuff, how in the hell is a deep story a bad thing? It can only keep you more invested in the game, whereas gameplay alone with no substance gets very redundant very fast.
Playstation is in no way, shape, or form in a 'little bubble', assuming you even know what that term means. In fact you can argue that they're the only ones who aren't, they're the only ones trying to expand gaming in all the important ways.
A hunch tells me maybe Kojima just ain't your cup of tea then
Interesting approach to damage control, acknowledge all the main qualities that make gamers love Kojima so much. I guess being that all the straw grasping negative speculation surrounding Days Gone is getting squashed you gotta cling to anything you can.
So, are they top toeing out of traditional consoles? Essentially trying to be the Netflix of gaming? If so how is this a good thing? Whatever guess just wait and see what they deliver.
I still have no clue what these 'tons of great games' were that the 360 had
Absolutely love this movie but this is so random lol. I'll definitely have to check this out on curiosity alone
The whole idea of real 'freedom' in sandbox games is an over exaggerated concept in its entirety. You can roam around and do random nonsense but it has zero impact on the playthrough. Campaigns are linear, period. And the idea that it's a sandbox game changes that is a complete fallacy. Does nothing to take away from this fantastic game.
Lol just dont dude, that's a 'knife to a gunfight' comment
Lol? Wtf do you have so many disagrees just for stating your honest opinion, so stupid
'I’m leasing a car every three years', unless that's a company car that's upgraded on their dime that's a tad silly to go through vehicles that fast.
I'll buy ps5 day one definitely, just hope they dont release it in a period where it overshadows the rest of ps4s games still to come.
Mascots aren't particularly a good thing. It implies the entire console brand is tethered to said mascots, Mario being the prime example. But for the sake of debate Sonic would have most definitely been equivalent to Mario if Sega consoles kept going.
