If a campaign makes more sense in co-op I want nothing to do with it anyway
And you know what, I'm completely ok with this as are most gamers. The idea is good and let them work on it and continue to improve it to make a subscription worth the money. As long as it doesn't interfere with them pumping out new games they can take as much time as they need.

You make valid points but there's two sides to that pitch. Lots of people on here were fluffing this game so hard, most likely not even because they actually cared about the game but because they were counting on an xbox exclusive to gloat about. Now the numbers are in and it's nothing but crickets. I'm sure the games fun but a lot of the hostility is to make people tuck back in their hole after pumping up this game so much. Also I know your Shawshank comparison was just an illust...

Nintendo had 2017? Please enlighten me how. Ps4 had Nioh, Horizon Zero Dawn, Hellblade, Gravity Rush 2. Yakuza 0, Nier Automata, Persona 5, Uncharted TLL, Dragon Quest Heroes 2.

These awards are a joke, designed to be crowd pleasers and stir up clicks more than anything. Horizon is arguably the best game this whole gen. Just like spiderman got so much heavily positive feedback from critics and gamers but it's not even mentioned in most GOTY debates this year, its pathetic
