@Binarycode As stated to KyRo I'll state to you.Nowhere did I say there's no fanboyism on PC. PC isn't a singular brand. And to compare something as niche as AMDvsNvidia - IntelvsAMD is laughable. Whomever is offering the better deal in terms of performance and price sways market perception for a number of years, something that doesn't really factor with console fanboyism. Getting screwed by either is seldom met with disdain because there is little to no recourse.
@KyRo Nowhere did I say there's no fanboyism, period, on PC, but to say there's some bitter rivalry between PC and consoles is very one-sided. PC as platform doesn't need devout brand loyalty to justify it's existence like console fanboys have convinced themselves they need to do, even despite how ridiculous the actions by the companies they defend. That being said, even the most remote fanboyism on PC doesn't compare. When a manufacturer screws up, say Gigabyte people mov...
@PitbullMonster You mean the painfully obvious late 2000s satire taken from The Escapist turned meme that's still satire, except to people with loyalties to brands can't move past from? Epic Games Store debacle had nothing to do with brand loyalty and everything to do with another lazy attempt by yet another publisher doing the bare minimum to compete with Steam and GOG, and were rightfully shamed for. Lack of basic features is probably the most asinine way to go about appealing to co...
"Playstation/PC rivalry" Lmao. If there is one, it's one-sided. Brand loyalty is console fanboy nonsense. Makes no difference if Playstation games arrive on PC or don't personally, neither add or detract the overall experience I've been enjoying long before this started. As with everything else its just more options.
Their ability to make an RPG reached its peak with Fallout 3. Despite its imperfections, the game minimizes hand-holding, features a meaningful dialogue tree(usually), and has a karma system that somewhat influences the world. Ever since Skyrim their attempts have gotten shallower, if not borderline brain dead to appeal to larger audiences.
It was part of the GeForce Now leak so we know it's coming.
Painkiller/Serious Sam type shooters are an acquired taste, and most here tend to be too wrapped up in the superficial to know how to appreciate them.
If any game in the series needs a remake, as in completely redone from the ground up because of how awful it was, it's RE6.
Complex at what? Most AAA games having been doing the bare minimum in terms of interactivity for awhile now despite software and hardware improvements. It's more likely due to nepotism having gotten so bad in recent years that these new bloods can't even handle the bare minimum. I work in VFX and see it in my own industry, merit is hardly the standard for getting hired that it once was.
Lmao who hurt you?
@masterfox
I'm pretty sure you're projecting your own insecurities. You made yourself look stupid. Simple as.
They've been releasing new titles pretty much every two years since 2016. The Lab, Artifact, Dota Underlords, Aperture Desk Job. Half-Life Alyx is very much a game and came out in 2020. Clearly they still make games.
@masterfox
i7 what?
"48 GB DDR4" Lmao.
You're so embarrassingly tech illiterate you can't even lie correctly.
Playing Postal correctly starts with not taking it seriously, because it sure as hell doesn't either.
The series takes place in Ukraine. One of the main factions is the Ukrainian military.
@jznrpg Yes limited fun. Between lack of general backwards compatibility. You're limited to what ONE company allows and curates versus no ceiling. That is a large con of a closed platform. For example RedM and FiveM. Third party multiplayer clients objectively superior in every way to Rockstar's own terrible moneygrubbing attempts. PC is also usually the first to get new genres. And of course, mods.
@Pocahontas
All mine work. You're stuck with an upscal...
@chobit_A5HL3Y Stop projecting your inferiority complex.
I'd rather quit this hobby than go back to getting nickel and dimed by proprietary nonsense with limited fun.
tl;dr
never going back to consoles
You can already emulate the PS3 and 360 versions at 4K60.
