I want a game like apocalypse now, but there are very few developers capable of coming close to pulling it off.
Recently I've been playing sonic, super smash bros, mariokart, crash team racing and metal gear solid. I will only know whether COD4 is as good as these games if I'm still playing it 8 years from now.
The PS2 has the eyetoy, guitar hero, dance mats, light guns, motion controllers, buzzers, steering wheels AND balance boards. Come on people let's not forget it just because it's old!
Well you could always play timesplitters. Pretty much the same game with better graphics and weapons.

The article is absolutely right. I want to give it a 10 for it's breathtaking technical prowess but I don't play it any more because it's boring.
I like the gameplay but the menus and lobbies are so utterly appalling that I don't see myself playing it much at all.
There you go. There are very few new gameplay ideas these days, and if there's no innovation, just reinvent the wheel.

Seriously, there's no way you'll be disappointed no matter how good you expect it to be. It's better than the others in the series by far, and as close to perfect as at all possible.

Well the fact is they could do it. Incognito did it with Warhawk, and that's along with zero lag 32 player online with good graphics and animations, a fantastic framerate and an incredible draw distance! That's just a downloadable game for crying out loud, and didn't need a 4gb install!
