It's also Austin Evans, one of the worst "tech" youtubers, who has no actual tech knowledge and gained popularity because of his weird personality in the early stages of youtube's social media boom.
You just have an unrealistic disconnected expectation on what hardware can do, and appear to be completely ignorant on how resource expensive Ray Tracing is
I'm not a huge BR player, but it's more fun with friends (like most mp games.)
We also tend to switch to other modes to shake it up.
We don't need them to be like the other car devs, that release half assed iterations or Arcade it up just to be "different." IE: Project Cars 3, every other Forza, and the up and down identity crisis from the Codemasters games.
Good point! I recently only bought it cause it was less than $20 and played it on PS5. One of those "Wish I played it sooner" type titles. I really hope they make a sequel
At first I thought it looked kinda "meh" but once you start, it was really hard to stop. The mix of story, gameplay, characters, sound, etc. all blew me away. Truly underrated title, (underrated in the sense the media have forgotten about it)
The only real noticeable difference is reflections, like in windows. Otherwise I stuck with performance mode in my play through, I couldn't stand 30fps after playing in 60.
The crazy part though, is how good it all still looked in 60fps without RT. My eyes couldn't keep up with the detail in some portions of the game.
That's hilarious because it's the exact same experience I had on my PC. Loaded it up recently, and had no idea where the hell I'm supposed to go, or what to do.
lol Greenburgers
To be fair they released GT Sport and have been updating it since it release, while probably working on this game on the side.
Right, let's also wish every car manufacturer released the same cars too, I mean why limit people to not drive the same car from another brand with theirs? I want me a Honda Corvette C8!!!
LOL some people actually believed you.
"you're playing your console in the middle of a lion's den full of sleeping, hungry cats."
I do but with something far worse, the wife
lmao, seems like it had a calling to return home
Oh yeah GoW was the one particular game that made the fans hit the Nitrous Boost
Cool... Mine is pretty much silent and haven't noticed it, opposed to my first revision PS4 Pro that sounds like it's preparing to go into space.
You're really exaggerating the "heating up/cooling down" of the side panels here. lmao.
It's not like the entire thing is an oven. The "glue" isn't going to fail. This is car Vinyl wrap. If it can wrap black cars and withstand 100F degree in the sun, it can handle a frickin' console.
Quite possibly one of the most ignorant comments on here.
They're testing last generation games, which were designed and limited by the I/O of the last generation.
You will only see a real difference once developers design games specifically for the PS5 and XSX.
Pretty sure if they sold more, we wouldn't stop hearing how much more they've sold over the competition.
The only people who truly know if the cooling is better or worse is Sony, because they know what the chip temperature will actually run at.
And this is laughably basic at this point, but silicon will have a tolerance of heat on what is acceptable. It's like an Intel processor with a tjunction of 100C. It's designed to throttle at that temperature, and will only truly degrade at 105-110C.
So for the PS5 chip, who knows how much tolerance they all...
