Why not release it now and allow Microsoft their rival to offer a Xbox One S for $100.00 less with UHD blu-ray drive and the same features as a PS4 Pro. That is retarded; Sony's saving grace ia that it has corporate loyalists

It sure didn't raise the price of Xbox One S. Xbox One S is cheaper and has the same features as a PS4 Pro with UHD blu-ray drive. People just want to justify Sony's poor approach to high end gaming. The PS4 Pro is just a Xbox One S for $100.00 more. Look, if the PS4 PRO offered Native 4K RESOLUTION at 30-60 frames per second then yes the PS4 Pro is more powerful. Unfortunately, it does not offer NATIVE NATIVE 4K RESOLUTION; therefore, not more powerful than Xbox One S period end of s...

I still don't see the point of owning a PS4 Pro

There is no mod support for Windows Store nor able to refund games

People also care about Vive/Oculus not just PSVR

Wait I am confused in regards to Microsoft offering open standards and letting multiple vendors to make VR headsets for Windows 10. On the other hand Windows Store is closed platform not open standard 😕

That is because worker benefits and worker rights are being violated.

It depends on US state, because in California certification tests are required. What I am saying is that today its more competitive than before and job experience is equally important as a degree. We come to a time that just working doesn't equal the ability to move up nor just studying and getting a degree equals a good job. Today, is required to work/study to get ahead. I too worked my way up from busser to food runner/banquet server. The second job that I have is neat because I get to ...

Agreed. Is just too competitive

Not really in California fast food workers must have some sort of job experience, submit a resume, background check, plus the job application. If someone wants to work in the hospitality industry, he/she must be servsafe certified. I am still 😲 that according to my culinary professor, in his day he would just show up to a restaurant and get hired by proving he could cook. Is not like that anymore 😭

Agreed, but Hotel Jobs are very hard to get into unless the applicant knows the manager or has a friend inside or better yet a letter of recommendation from employer. Getting to work in a restaurant or catering is a lot easier than working at a hotel. Also most hotels pay $15.00 per hour with benefits or are unionized.

Is not because we play videogames is due to the high barrier of entry to get a job. Today in the US, is about filling out job applications, write a resume, go to job interview and hopefully you get hired. In addition workers must have experience before being hired plus certified. Also workers must pass a drug test on top of a background check. That is for a minimum wage job.

Well videogame journalists are a joke. So I agree with you on that; however, I disagree in regards to SAG-AFTRA union. It is the unions that speak in behalf of workers and defend workers rights. These unions are not perfect in regards to featherbedding, union fees, or seniority preference. Still, I wish there were game developer unions to protect game developers. Too many game developers lose their ip (Hideo Kojima lost the rights to make Metal Gear games 😭 even though he was the crea...

Maybe is because gamers have become better reviewers than videogame journalists. It was the steam community that after reviewing Batman Arkham Knight. They informed everybody that the game was broken. In contrast gaming journalists were giving glowing reviews og say game.

I am hoping both Sony and Microsoft ditch hardware altogether in favor of a PS Network/Xbox Live TV app. With tvs able to read external hard drive multimedia data, is possible to download and install any game from psn store or xbox live marketplace. Both of these corporations utilize ☁ technology 😋. No more games being held back due to outdated hardware (pretty much every Ubisoft game, Fallout 4, etc.). No more excuse of game development high costs. No more excuse of adding microtrans...
