Not really in California fast food workers must have some sort of job experience, submit a resume, background check, plus the job application. If someone wants to work in the hospitality industry, he/she must be servsafe certified. Agreed, but Hotel Jobs are very hard to get into unless the applicant knows the manager or has a friend inside or better yet a letter of recommendation from employer. Getting to work in a restaurant or catering is a lot easier than working at a hotel. Also most hotels pay $15.00 per hour with benefits or are unionized.
Is not because we play videogames is due to the high barrier of entry to get a job.
