Jesus, the Vita isn't getting anything good. I'm running out of patience. I need games for it.

Anyone who hates on CoD does it because everyone else does. In reality, it's got pretty fun gameplay and multiplayer and gets an incredible amount of justified hate. And guess what guys, with the 10+ million people who will buy it aren't all casuals. Real gamers will play whatever they want because it's fun and brings them enjoyment. "Clever gamers"... get over yourself you prick.

Haha, same. The doctors in the last part were unarmed and posed no threat but I still killed them all mercilessly....there's something wrong with us

Exactly. It's great, but it's definitely over hyped.

I thought it was pretty clear that Ellie already knows he was lying. She just doesn't care because Joel is the only person who has never left her. If they do make a sequel, they should make it about different characters in a different area of the world, because the ending doesn't need to be explained. There was a time when people drew their own conclusions, and didn't need to be told what happened. But they should do plenty of DLC for Joel and Ellie on this one.

If you consider collecting eggs and orbs a plot, then yeah I guess there was considerable plot. There was a semi plot that didn't work well.

The Precursor Legacy wasn't my cup of tea either. All you did was collect stuff and the plot was nonexistent. Jak 2 and Jak 3 are a lot different though. Different setting, better plot lines, guns and vehicles. I thought they were pretty good.

And that's also it's biggest weakness. Indie support is great and all, but it doesn't sell consoles. It needs AAA support in addition to it's great indie support. But it's not getting that support at all.

Agreed. I was all about defending the Vita a year ago. Now I'm just disappointed. Sony better get their shit together "later this year".

I already have one. And I'm sorry to say, but the line up right now is probably not swaying any of the people who don't have one.

I have to agree. When I first got my Vita there were a ton of games that had already been released. Within a few months I was done with them. The replayability of a lot of the games is almost non existant and I don't want to only play indie games on my Vita. I'd rather have a good balance between smaller games and AAA titles, which are pretty lacking on the system. Sure we have Killzone on the way but other than AC3 Liberation and LBP, most of the AAA titles have been busts.

The problem there is that they get absolutely no exposure unless people are looking for them. The average person who was checking out E3 news most likely saw jack shit about the Vita. And it's getting almost no AAA titles at this point. That's not a good thing.

Yeah, Sony fanboys are already justifying paying for online, despite the fact they criticized MS for it all last gen. The negativity around Xbox One is overblown. They haven't made the best decisions, but it's not going to be a failure by any means.

And it also costs fifty dollars more to get than a ticket to Man of Steel, and I'm sure that has a lot to do with why it grossed more. Man of Steel was great, but The Last of Us is a lot more entertaining. Definitely worth the extra cash.

The Division feels more like Ghost Recon, it's got the same HUD and everything.

Yeah, really. The gameplay is pretty lacking. Most of the game consists of walking, moving dumpsters, and setting up ladders and planks. People seem to forget that this is actually a videogame, they get caught up in the fact that the story is good (and even the story is pretty predictable). So the hype is clearly ruling the scores here. Is it a great game that is fun to play? Yeah. Is it the "best game ever"? No, not by a long shot.

3967d ago 0 agree4 disagreeView comment

I'd agree that the gameplay could be better. The bulk of the game consists of walking from one place to another, with random fights in between. It's still good, but the story is clearly the focus of the game. People will down vote you though, because apparently everything about TLOU is perfect.

While The Last of Us is an awesome game, there are definitely some things that could be better. I think that it's riding the hype train with all these perfect scores. They're not being objective at all.

That's still not very good. I was hoping for some big name games, trailers/gameplay of these ones, and more representation in general. It's understandable though, Sony had to go hard with the PS4, the Vita stuff will come later probably.

@ TheSurg

Europe has such a big brother/eagle eye type system it isn't even funny. If you think you have more freedom, you're either kidding yourself or a moron. On top of that, all of your countries aren't even sovereign anymore. You're the EU's bitch.
