I remember when I was a kid, I had 2K2 on my PS2 and my friend had Madden. I was at his house and he told me I wouldn't be good at Madden because "it wasn't some shitty 2K game". I f***in rage because 2K2 was leagues better than Madden.
Because in order to do that, you'd also have to buy a $300 console. If you put the option of getting a game for 360, PS3, and Wii U, then most people are going to go for the game on the console they already have. The difference will be inconsequential to casual gamers and they won't want to buy a Wii U so that they can get one game with better graphics. Nintendo needs to diversify their launch games with some more exclusives, because at the moment it's almost all multiplat games. ...
I'd say ZombiU is more like their Left 4 Dead and this is more like Aliens, you know the movie it's based off of. If it had to have a game counterpart I'd say it'd be Dead Space.
But you also can't call it "Wii U's version" because it's a multi-platform title.
Have to disagree with you. The ability to run from Boston to New York in 5 minutes would totally ruin the realism that AC strives for. You couldn't travel across Italy in AC2, but you could explore outside the cities to a certain degree and I expected the same for AC3. In AC1 you could ride a horse to other cities but that was time consuming and frustrating so I'm glad they aren't going that route.
It's definitely a better price than the 360 and PS3 were when they launched. I don't know if I'll get one at launch because all the games I'd want with it I can get for 360 or PS3.
Also, PS Vita is $250 for wifi. The 3G version is not necessary at all. And you have to take into account that PS Vita is a next gen portable so the launch price isn't great, it's about where it should be expected.

I don't care if they keep making games in these series. I love Halo, Uncharted, Assassins Creed, and I occassionally play Pokemon and, yes, even CoD. They can keep making these games and still make new IP. The author assumes that these franchises are stopping developers from making new IPs. That's just not true. He said original launch titles. There are very few of those. ME3 and NG3 have been out for a while and are ported games. Those offer literally no incentive for someone who already owns a 360 or PS3 because they can simply buy it for 40 bucks and not have to buy a new console to get it. The same goes for Arkham City.

Dust 514 is only going to be an app where you can edit your player and stuff. So yeah it won't be like the console version at all, which really sucks.
That'd be cool but it's supposed to be somewhat related to the console game. Hopefully it'll be successful and they start having new games with different settings.

I disagree with all of those except for No Russian kind of stuff and killing children. If someone wants to make a feminist game, then by all means go ahead. Torture was done alright in Black Ops. The sex in Mass Effect was tastefully done, and I don't about you, but I find Miranda pretty sexy.

Which begs the question, why did you just buy a pc because it has better graphical capabilities, when in reality only about 10% of the games for it actually take advantage of it?
Also on Steam sales. They're nice but honestly you get a lot of crap games. And almost all PC games are launched at the same price their console counterparts are so that's an invalid argument.
My thoughts exactly. If you keep coming out with something new, then the developers don't get to truly explore the capabilities of a console.
Yeah one of the things that I've noticed is that Aveline does't have massive breasts and a huge ass, and she hasn't worn anything revealing from what I've seen. That's really uncommon in video games and I think it's pretty cool that they're sticking with accuracy rather than trying to make her appeal to the masses cuz she has big boobs.
As for her not blending in. A good chunk of the population of New Orleans were "free people of color". ...
I have yet to play Dragon's Dogma, but I thought ME3 was great. What I don't get is why Wipeout 2048 is there and Uncharted Golden Abyss is not.

I thought it was a great game. I'd give it an 8 out of 10. The only thing I would change is the combat. It was too derivative of Arkham Asylum. I like it when punch, kick, and web all have a different button and you can use combos and stuff. It's more challenging that way.
AC2 was awesome. I didn't notice the missing memories at first until I went back to replay some missions and realized sequences were missing. It didn't bother me much because AC2 felt like a full game as it was.
Brotherhood and Revelations on the other hand felt like I was being screwed. There was way less content in those games and I didn't buy the DLC, because honestly it's not worth it. Brotherhood was a solid game but Revelations was sub-par.
I have it for 360 and have experienced only one of those problems. I sometimes see other players running around with their guns firing even though they aren't actually firing. Hardly game breaking in my opinion.
