The touch to kill is optional. They rely on the regular button combat system but they've made combat harder. So people who don't feel like dealing with the combat or aren't good enough to deal with it can rely on touch kills. And some motion controls, like swiping the back touch screen to pickpocket, are pretty cool. Most are minor anyways.
Also, what'd you expect from a game made for a handheld with 2 touch screens and a gyroscope.
Edit: did...
Looking pretty sweet. But I don't know why they don't have any new trailers regularly. Or gameplay. AC3 has tons of trailers and gameplay.
Looks pretty awesome. I like that you can board ships, too. And the fact that you can go to the Caribbean is cool too.
I assume you mean the Germans. Because they invented the language. ;)

That's an old superstition. I doubt the Japanese are terrified of the number 4. That's like saying the Greeks are terrified of Zeus striking them down with lightning, or that sailors still don't like having women on board. It's part of the past and is inconsequential in today's society.
Because the Wii appealed to the masses and survived off huge press and a gimmicky premise. How many Wii owners actually use their Wii on a weekly, or even monthly, basis? I haven't turned mine on in months. I do however frequently play my other consoles.
Yeah I know, but I mean...they're cupcakes. I would think of a more clever thing to send them if I were outraged.
Why in the hell would you send cupcakes to protest the ending of ME3? Cupcakes are awesome and I'd see that as a sign of thanks for such a great game. But yeah, the fan reaction and outrage (keep in mind that it's a vocal minority, too) will be a black mark on ME3, even though it was a fantastic game.
That's kind of what I meant. AC2 perfected the formula, and for that, it is a game changer. Then the next two expanded on it. AC1 and AC Rev play completely different.
I understand that AC3 will be a game changer. I just don't think that it's the first in the series to be one.
Well AC2 was a game changer too. The formula is the same but the games have changed completely. If you play Revelations and AC1, they're completely different games.
Yeah. I think the Vita would sell a lot more if they stopped selling the PSP.
Buy this man a drink.
Except that no test can prove that video games cause violence. There can be correlation, but that does not prove causation and it doesn't take into account all the other input that a child takes in from movies, books, music, comics, tv, and in some cases their life.
And the kid in that article never got to play Halo 3. That's why he killed his mom.
Those are all possibilities but, let's be real, GOTY is biased towards consoles.
Yeah I think ME3, AC3, and Halo 4 are likely candidates. Though Halo is an old franchise so it might not get the excitement it used to and ME3 had a lot of controversy surrounding it. I think AC3 is the most likely out of all 3.
Yeah Unit 13 was good too. Haven't gotten Mod Nation Racers or WipEout yet, but they just dropped the price so I'll be picking them up.
And LBP and AC Liberation will likely be great non port games as well. And as you said, they're not ports, they're multiplatform games.
Gravity Rush was a good non port game. So was Uncharted.
My thoughts exactly.
I definitely will. They're completely different games than their console counter parts.
I haven't had any problems with the current firmware. Sometimes it doesn't respond to me touching it, but I think that's because of my new screen protector.
