Yeah, it was that game Osiris. It's been canned.
It really does. A reboot that's true to the previous games with them still in canon or a continuation of the 08 one would be nice.
But not quite as good as the comics.
I honestly don't get that argument. Guess what else we pay for that has ads? Cable, internet, magazines, games themselves have ads in them sometimes. Who cares? Do I see those ads and then become infuriated because they have ruined my gaming experience? No I don't, and the vast majority of them are gaming related.
Also, the free games aspect is pretty subjective. Most of the games on PS+ I already have. For some, that feature might mean nothing because they would rar...
@harrisk
Studies actually show that people torrenting material increases sales in the long run. Music, TV, Comics. All have been shown to sell better if people can try them for free first.
Now I doubt people will buy a Netflix account because of this single show, but they may buy it on blu-ray or DVD one day.
@ Sleet
If you're smart about buying it, you can get huge discounts. I have never paid full price for Live.
Playstation network is great, and the fact that they have free online is awesome, but cross game chat is a huge feature on Xbox Live, and Playstation should have implemented it by now.
Does it suck that you have to play for Live? Yeah. But Xbox owners don't have a choice in the matter if they want to play online.
Oh, I feel you. Yeah, they clearly favor the 3DS, and because of that the Vita is taking a lot of hits. A Monster Hunter or Resident Evil on there could help a lot, but they're clearly being deprived of those.
And why Revelations is still coming to PS3 and 360. Some quality logic there from gamingmaster.
That could be pretty cool. I think they'd have to If they did it, they should actually make big battles on big maps (more than 16-32 people).
I'm still waiting on a console game that can actually imitate a battle well. I'm talking huge amounts of people air support, armored ground support, infantry, paratroopers, entire companies worth of players that can divide into platoons and take on different tasks. I seriously doubt it'll be like that in Killzone 4 but ...
Dominance in the market is unrelated to quality. Does Sony put out quality stuff? Hell yeah. But they are a shadow of what they were in the PS2 days. And no, the PS3 is not the leader of the pack, that'd be the Wii.
Agreed. It looks very promising, but without playing it for ourselves, there's no way we can know it's a masterpiece.
@ Protagonist
True, true. I love my Vita, I hope that sales pick up so that more third party developers hop on board with it.
But still the lineup the Vita has already is awesome. It already has some great games and there are a few big ones coming this year. Killzone looks amazing and other games like Sly and Tearaway are going to be sweet. I'm hoping we see some more new IPs and maybe some other PS3 franchises. MGS would and GTA exclusives would be aweso...
I hope so, for Sony's sake.
I agree. Still the campaign looks awesome. And the CoD multiplayer suffered from more than just 4v4 and few maps.
I find it funny that when CoD announced that it would only be 4v4 there was massive outrage, but when Killzone does it, it's ignored. Anyways, this game looks amazing, hope they up it to 8v8 at some point.
You're making the game a chore by trying for trophies. It's like the exact opposite of the point of a game. You should go back to playing a game because it's fun and you enjoy playing it, not because there are trophies for it. Those extra missions should be incorporated into the game already. I remember when trophies/achievements didn't exist and games had to make you want to replay because of the actual game, not because of a virtual trophy.
@ Son_Lee below ...
I don't get why people love trophies so much. They don't add anything to the game.
Ah, I didn't know that, thanks for the info. I just got the first God Eater and it's a lot of fun, I think that God Eater 2 could actually move a lot of systems in Japan. The heavy support for the PSP is killing the Vita there. It's understandable though, the developers have way more people to sell the game to if it's on PSP.
I don't think they should have even put it on the PSP. It doesn't make sense, Sony is shooting themselves in the foot.
I see where you're coming from. I thought the story was a lot more compelling in UC3 but the setting was not as good as UC2. That hallucinogen thing though, that was some intense stuff.
