I get hard crashes on borderlands 3, destroy all humans, doom eternal and a bunch of other games I've recently played on the base ps4.

Not really. Most likely they'll become the villlian without being aware that they are....self awareness is not missing from CDpr.

Agreed. Though the did do open worlds before so not sure that was the problem.
Witcher 3 was open world and witcher 1 had big open areas.
I think if vivid affected development, like working remotely, that would have definitely impacted optimization. It's just not the same as working next to your co workers everyday.
It was delayed several times. Being on the gamers side doesn't mean not releasing a game until all bugs are done. It totally looks like there was clear miscommunication somewhere. Knowing how crappy it runs on the base consoles they couldn't have possibly released it like that knowing all the backlash and loss of stock and popularity. Makes zero business sense.

Correction. They are a great developer. Without the bugs it is a very enjoyable and good game. What they created is good. The bugs are retracting from what they did.

Probably because the 2 patches meant to clear the game up are in January and February....that's 2 months instead of 6 months.
You know I think the dishonored devs could do a good cyberpunk game. Their style is amazing.
At this point. There's not much they can do except continue to cater to last gen because now we know that most here on n4g didn't buy the pro or the xboxone x, and hopefully focus more on improving it for next gen.
I still can't wait to play this game on ps5. Hopefully the stock issue goes away in January or february

I dont think they've ever compared themselves to rockstar...and neither do their games resemble anything from rockstar...Soo not sure that would be the case. Multiplayer in fps I not uncommon.
Same here. I'm not all that interested in the multiplayer at all.
Extra content for the main game is where they can flourish.
Even more out of the ordinary. No other dev has owned up to it like CDPR.

1. Witcher 3 had plenty of bugs...you just ignored it. Besides bugs this game is very much enjoyed by nearly everyone.
2. CDPR is giving the game free for next gen if you purchased the current/last gen version. Probably realized it wouldnt run very well and did that specifically for that purpose.
