Yeah. It really will not surprise me if this turns out to be the case. Would be an extremely smart move to take.
There is a parental control function in near enough everything today..including Xbox 360 and PS3. A lot of parents, especially the elder ones, are not able to use gadgets..let alone setup parental controls.
To be completely honest. I very rarely use the 3D on my XL. The sweetspot is too tight for my liking and when playing Donkey Kong Country Returns, I was getting some slowdown with the 3D on...but was fine with it off.
It was a fun gimmick at the start, but I don't really care about it anymore, I just find it a nuisance to keep completely still to get the full effect. Especially when I am fidgety.
As hilarous as those pictures are, I still think quite a few people are actually missing the point of the 2DS. I know quite a few people who won't buy their child a 3DS as it is even suggest by Nintendo that under-7's should not use the 3D function.
People can say "just turn the 3D off" well the child will just turn it back on again...I know I would have.

I 100% agree with your comment. If you enjoy a game, who has the right to say "you shouldn't be enjoying that." Why? Because society says so? Because of peer pressure? Just be yourself and enjoy what you want to enjoy. Otherwise you are no different than lambs.

I 100% agree with you on the stores making 100% off used games. That is wrong and something should've been put in place.
If Sony and MS do go down the same line as Steam and sell games cheaper, constantly do sales and what not, then it will be fantastic. BUT! I can't see this being the case. Well, not to the extent of Steam anyways.

It is quite funny how people seem to think I am hating on the Xbox One. It is quite simple to just say "go buy a ps4." There is more to this than that. What if I prefer the exclusives on the Xbox One than those on the PS4. I will have to also pay that bit extra for the Kinect. We might see more hardcore games come to the console when game developers know that every Xbox One owner also has a Kinect 2.0. I believe more money and effort will be invested into games that are solely built for the Kinect.
