It is actually a coincidence, I have had it in draft form for a few days. Also, at the start, I state that I am going to an article like this for all 3 of the consoles.
Two things: Firstly you say 'we' as if you speak for all Nintendo fans. It annoys me when people do this.
Secondly, Galaxy is a traditional Mario game? I'd say 3D World is a lot more traditional. Both fantastic games in their own right.

I know what the word 'underrated' means thank you very much. How often do you see people asking or talking about Grandia games? The last one that was made was 8 years ago. Underrated! You "wonderful" person.

This is a reply to your other comment. The article is not about comparing the two adverts. I just believe the Wii U advert was a terrible piece of marketing. The Wii U is in dire need of sales and Xmas is fast approaching and is one of, if not the most important time of the year to do something good and these adverts are extremely important to sales.
Do you honestly think that advert was good for the Wii U?
So.....they are trying to make the Wii U look worse so that the sales of the 3DS get better?
It means to 'inadvertently make things worse.' Which Nintendo do when they make silly adverts. I REALLY want the Wii U to be successful, but I lose a bit of faith with marketing like this.
Mario is and will always be a huge part of gaming....even if Nintendo did happen to die out one day (which I hope never happens). Keiji Inafune said "Mario is, for game creators, the development bible."
The little Italian is still going strong till today. Regardless if you are a fan of Nintendo or not, you cannot deny what he did for gaming.
I think competition is great. But the fanboy wars have been unbearable and tedious. I just can't believe how many people cannot understand that people have their own opinions.

Deathsmiles is a great game. Any bullet hell game made by Cave turns out fun as hell.
In reply to your other comment, I think you are missing the point that this is an opinion piece. Just because something is popular in Japan doesn't mean that it is mandatory that I have to like it. It is all about opinions. I am glad you had such a good generation of JRPG's. Unfortunately for me, I did not.
There is also Hero mode as well. This game is for people who love going for high scores and these kind of shooters. For me, it is the best game on the PS4 at the moment. Though I most probably part of the minority.
