I think you misunderstand there is no industry standard on textures for levels of detail to qualify for Ultra and high and it differs from studio to studio. So comparing ultra and high textures from one game to the next all depends on what that studio created and implemented.
But at 1080p the texture differences are going to not be noticeable as higher detail textures are which are made for higher resolutions and are going to be downscaled anyway to the amount of pixels for ...
I don't get these articles that still try to compare Ultra textures versus high textures on 1080p screenshots. Obviously its going to be hard to tell until you go up higher in resolutions which then you will need 6GB Vram GPU's in crossfire/sli anyway to produce frame rates that make Ultra detail textures worthwhile.
TLDR version: Resolutions of 1440p or higher is where Ultra resolutions become necessary as their are more pixels on screen so the game textures look cle...

I guess rare items are okay if you don't have a legendary auto rifle, scout rifle, or hand cannon. The Auto rifle looks like it rivals the Shingen in terms of stats.

You can get ascendant shards and energy from the raids which you can use to max out legendary armor and guns. Looks like all guns are capped at 300 damage right now.
Xbox one will get better textures and other things from the tools DX12 will bring.
Both consoles already do native 1080p gaming its just one console needs more time to iron out the wrinkles while the other was easy from the get go. DX12 will just allow better looking games with quite a bit more physics and objects in it.
PC's will benefit even more as they already have the power just the API isn't efficient as you can upgrade GPU's and Processor...

The best thing I have experienced in Destiny has been the sword of crota. Its been a bland shooter with some special attacks so far. Maybe it gets better somewhere just at level 10 1 sword fight has been the height of my entertainment.
This is marketed for gaming. If it was for workstations it would be a Firepro.
The new snap is amazing nothing like playing Destiny with IE up to the right showing me which public event to goto next. Or using smartglass mixed in too for keyboard typing.
