Microsoft showing these companies how it's done properly! Funny to think Sony dominated North America the last two generations, wonder what they did to eff that up??
PSN sure is down often, and when it comes back online there is never anything improved. Sure am glad Microsoft doesn't pull all this "maintenance" BS with us.

Kinect doesn't need a saving grace. I don't know what footage you've seen, but from what I've seen it's pretty well done.
It mixes old school horror with new school motion controls. Also it's a game not on rails, which all the nay Sayers said was impossible. It might take a little getting used to, but who didn't have a learning curve when they first tried a Wii?
I own half a dozen Kinect games and there all a blast! Have Star Wars...
So Just Dance 2 has sold more copies then any PS3 exclusive ever....good to know.
If they made it a 32 inch and didn't include any games and sold it for $300-$350 I might be interested.
There are actually a good variety of games for Kinect, Kinect Sports, Dance Central, Adventures, Joyride, Kinectimals, Child Of Eden, Fruit Ninja, UFC Trainer is actually a blast and works well. Rise Of Nightmares and Gunstringer both look fantastic as well.

I beg to differ, Dance Central, Child Of Eden, Joyride and Fruit Ninja are all a ton of fun as well. I've come to like UFC Trainer quite a bit as well.

Not sure why people act like it's some small accomplishment, also it's North America, which is more then the United States.
Also I'd like to point out that Sony owned North America the previous two generations and are now solidly in third overall here.
Dragon age 2, Mortal Kombat, Marvel Vs Capcom, Portal 2, L.A. Noire, Brink, Crysis 2, Homefront, Skyrim, Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3, Gears 3, Forza 4,Assassins Creed Revelations, Halo CE and Batman Arkham City aren't games?
I guess I was mistaken, must have been playing something else....what the hell did I pre order some of those for if they weren't games?

Congrats to MS, they have had a steady flow of sales this generation. Not too shabby for a sophomore entry.
This generation would have to be Gears Of War. When I saw that I knew I had to have both it and an Xbox 360. I got the 360 release date and Gears the next year when it released, when I first played it, I realized what next gen truly was.
I haven't played From Dust yet, but I played Fruit Ninja Kinect for almost three hours yesterday, now my arms are tired as hell, but it was well worth it!
Who would say otherwise? Unless it's some PS3 fanboy feeling the heat from the top racing sim this generation.

Don't get it if you don't want to, but I personally get more enjoyment out of a map pack then going to the movies, you get days and days worth of content.

Not a chance in hell. People didn't buy the 3DS originally because of the price. The Vita is more expensive then the 3DS was.
People will try to throw the whole "The tech is really worth it" argument, but that died when the PS3 floundered at $599 US dollars. It's a recession right now, horrible climate to release such expensive items. I don't think the Vita will flop, but I think it will definitely get outsold by the 3DS, DS and the original PSP.
