Nice! I have SMG2 and DK! Both are fantastic games. Worth picking up for certain.
Congrats to Microsoft! I know I've been enjoying mine since I bought it launch night at the midnight release.
It's quite fun, even people who said they'd never get into it that I know have absolutely fallen in love with it. Plus the ladies love Dance Central. It's like going to the club, but in your house!
Thanks to the epic failure of Haze, we get screwed out of SWBF3.
Well Sony isn't into Gimmicks, and he's too old for lollipops. I mean it's not like people needed to get second jobs or anything to buy one.
Sony already said they are selling the NGP at a profit for them. Now the PSP GO was launched at $250 and had none of the features the NGP has. There is no way we see this thing released anywhere in the $200's range.
The screen itself is quite expensive, the 3G is costly, Six axis is costly, the thing is designed to eat up money. I believe it's wishful thinking at anything less then $300-$350 and maybe even $400. I truly believe Sony wants to compete more with the App...
Price is most likely going to be $349 for non 3G and $399 for the 3G. A bit too pricey for me. I wasn't a fan of how Sony treated the first PSP, which was a nice machine, it lacked games though.
Now while I think it's kind of cool that they are going to release games like LBP, Metal Gear 4, Uncharted ect.. I have those games on my big screen and PS3 already, those aren't exactly the type of handheld games I'm looking for.
That was very well said. Bubbles for you!
Well done Microsoft. The gaming world needs competition and now that the competition is heating up it's us gamers that get the rewards. That is a nice entry for a Sophomore console entry. Congratulations, I know I'm a proud 360s owner with Kinect.
*Also proud PS3, Wii owner, just so I don't get called fanboy*
I bet the version without 3G is going to be $300-$350 and the 3G version $400 or slightly higher.
The PSPGO launched at $249 and that had nothing power wise compared to this. It's simple economics. If they sell it for $400 I'm guessing they are still taking a loss per unit sold.
The system looks nice, but the average person, teenager, college Student cannot afford it.
Well the original PS3 was worth it, but a lot of people didn't buy it because it wasn't really affordable. This is probably going to be the same deal. I'd like to get it, but it'd have to be $250 or less for me to buy it.
Maybe after it has a price drop or something, though I'll say it looks good.
Because I said this is clearly fake?
Thats fake. Obviously it's a NGP picture with footage from MGS4.
Wise up people.
Well Gamestop was already doing a $100 trade in on all DSI's and DSIXL models. So you get $100 off the 3DS meaning it will only cost you $150 out of pocket.
Plus I prefer the Nintendo first party games over the Sony ones. Also, the main studio's aren't even making these NGP games, they are like in house "Supervised" by such and such company.
I'm from Baltimore too, anytime you play against the Steelers in Pit, you need to beat them and...
People thinking this thing is going to be anywhere near $200 will get a harsh reality check I'm sure.
If the PSPGO which had none of these features was sold for $250, what does that tell you?
Probably between $300 and $400. The games are probably going to cost between $50-$60 and the battery life is relatively short. I wish I had some of your all's money, the ones saying $300 to $350 is priced right. It's not priced right for me and I know for sur...
My guess is $349 for the Wifi one and $400 for the one with 3G. When you consider the PSPGO was $250 and that had nothing this thing has..ya. Also I'm wondering what the games are going to cost. I wouldn't be surprised if there $50-$60 like standard Xbox 360 and PS3 games.
Too rich for my blood.
I pre ordered my 3DS a couple weeks ago, nothings changed now. I think $250 is a bit pricey as it is, much less the probable $300-$400 price point of the Sony NGP.
Thats opinion guy. I actually preferred the Dreamcast and then moved on to the Xbox. I had a PS2, but I found the online cumbersome. I also had a PSP, but they lacked quality titles. I'm not saying the PSP2 or NGP is bad, I'm saying it's going to be expensive. Even with separate SKU's. I'm guessing $299 for the Wifi one and $299 for the one with 3G.
That's not going to win over a lot of parents and with it launching almost a year behind the 3DS, I thin...
I heard the same arguments when the PS3 was getting it's price point. Sony doesn't care if you have to get a second job remember?
Anyway, all jokes aside, looking at the tech, 3G, touchscreen, two camera's, Wifi ect.. it's going to be pricey. I mean a phone with half that stuff costs $250 -$300 so of course this is going to be expensive.
It's going to be between $350 and $400 no doubt. Too rich for my blood. They should have left some of the useless tech out. I mean it's like the launch PS3's. They had all this useless stuff in there and then years later took it out with the slim. Imagine if they release at a cheaper price point from the start? Same type of deal with the handhelds.
Nintendo is known for their ability to sell handhelds and I don't see that changing. I think $350 - $400 is goin...
3-D is the worst fad ever, glad it's not included. I suspect they didn't want to fail at another 3-D attempt. The fad cant die fast enough for me. Every movie has 3-D now, most are horrid and use 3-D as a crutch to support the overall lousy writing, acting, plots ect....
Much rather go back to quality movies and less "Special Effects"
