The worst experience for me on XBL was when the Games on Demand for Xbox 360 was released. I was browsing, on the Xbox 360, through the games, looking at each game and its price. I got to Viva Pinata and the Xbox froze up. Without thinking, I started tapping the A button repeatedly. It unfroze a few seconds later and on the screen it said I had purchased the game. $19.99 for a piece of shit I could have gotten for 2 dollars used.

I think it's because the discs get printed weeks in advance of release. In that time from printing to release the developer may find it necessary to release an update that will improve the game.
