He's alright, he's actually entertaining if you give him a chance. He's just naturally a very excitable guy but lots of people think it comes off as fake. Sometimes it does seem like he's just come back from snorting cocaine though.
:(
I like Reggie even if just for the memes
If this is true then we could probably be seeing Wii BC as well because they're really similar systems.
Yeah, as with the NX rumours I've just decided to ignore everything that's not a direct confirmation from Nintendo.
Because it switches from console to handheld?
Because they're switching it up?
Because they want people to switch to the Switch?
Because they're switching to top gear?
Because [insert pun here]?
I'm down for this. Already got a few USB-C type devices and I'm really glad they seem like a worthy successor to the original USB that has stuck around for so damn long. Long live USB C!
Nintendo did with the NES mini what many other toy makers do with their products. It's an incredibly common tactic and it ensures that any risk of overproducing is mitigated. Nintendo does this often with their more toy-like offerings such as amiibo and the NES mini, but has never purposely done it with a mainline console (the wii was accidental, then they overstocked the Wii U at launch).
It sucks when it happens to a product that many people want, but it's completely clear ...
It's unusual in the gaming industry, but it's fairly standard in other tech sectors. Apple announces their phones less than a month before they come out, and it works incredibly well for them.
@Shinox
It's not Nintendo's job to ensure that the Vita does well, that's Sony's job, and they majorly dropped the ball. You cannot blame Nintendo for being competitive in a competitive market, that's like blaming Sony for the Wii U's failure.
@gbsrnctaln
The iPhone 7 is barely above 720p. Only select phones are 2/4k and that is only for VR (Samsung phones even turn off some of their pixels by default when not in VR mode).
But the Switch can do 1080p?
Never played this on the Wii U, will try it out on the Switch, it always looked like great fun.
First, that's a rumour.
Second, there's another rumour that it'll have a 1080p screen.
Third, even if it has a 720p screen there's nothing stopping it from upscaling when connected to the TV.
Fourth, if you want anything close to console quality graphics on a handheld then you need a lower resolution to free up some grunt.
Last, the screen is like 6 inches and you're afraid you'll be able to see the pixels at 720p? Get outta here.
I think it could be good, but not because the Rabbids are a good choice of crossover.
Yeah, the Switch seems like the perfect secondary, along with a PC. I don't see that as a negative, though.
Yes.
If you think it'll be stronger than the PS4 Pro then idk what to say to you.
That's not underpowered though. Whether it is underpowered or not is found by basing it on the average performance of other devices in its league, like how you compare consoles to consoles. Comparing the Switch to consoles would leave you thinking it's underpowered, but compared to other mobile devices it handily outperforms most of them.
I hope they get rid of the time limit on coins. I just logged on to find that over 500 silver coins had expired. Stupid.
The VR patent is hardly a confirmation, it just tells us that they have considered it.
