Eh, it's actually pretty good for a mobile device.
My phone has 6 gigs of RAM but I think 4 is just fine for something without the massive overheads of android whilst multitasking 10+ applications. The Switch just has to worry about one game at a time.
And Sony was going for 4 gigs on the PS4 until 3rd parties convinced them otherwise. They were just trying to keep the price competitive, it's not as simple as many on here seem to think.
I feel like we would know if Nintendo was doing that by now, what with the internet and such. Having played the game I can personally attest to its quality though.
Wait... The hype is to drive sales? You think people are lying about how good it is to try and get people to buy it? You think reviewers are doing that??
Breath of the Wild feels like no other game, let alone Zelda. It's an incredible game. This is coming from someone who had Zelda fatigue and never finished Wind Waker HD due to it.
What, in your opinion, is a better game this year?
I suppose you've made a better game than Overwatch, hence why you feel your opinion is more important?
😳
What downside makes you think Nintendo has cheaped out? Seriously, there's not much more they could have done without sacrificing on battery life regardless of price.
Yeah, currently Horizon is ahead, but Zelda is Nintendo's fastest selling launch title ever. That's faster than Mario 64, which finished at 12 million sales. I'm not saying Zelda will do those numbers, but even a quarter of that is better than Horizon.
Also your 1.3 number is Switch only.
There's story and voice acting. What exactly is your argument?
I wouldn't be so sure about the sales, I expect Zelda will outsell Horizon (or may have already done so).
What about the physics, open world, ability to choose how, when, and if you even advance the story at all (this game is so open you can go straight to the final boss), etc.
I'd also argue that Zelda has better controls, animation and combat, but I suppose those are subjective.
Horizon is still incredible. Just don't piss on Zelda.
I hope more people buy Horizon.
I also hope more people buy Zelda because we need more open world games that break the archetype and push the envelope. I haven't enjoyed the usual open world formula since Black Flag (which only got a pass because the ship battles were awesome), but Zelda continues to reel me back in even after finishing it.
Zelda crashes?
Also if you'd played the game you would know the world is anything but empty.
Mostly the emergent gameplay, how the world unfolds differently for every player, how you can do everything in any order or skip over it entirely, how the physics systems work in tandem to create a believable and interactive world, the attention to detail in every little thing, etc. The physics are of the "if you think of it, it will probably work" kind so that's great fun.
If you ask two different people who have played Zelda for the same amount of time they both will ...
The Switch is some of the nicest designed gaming hardware in recent memory. Every downside has a rational explanation. Nintendo went about as far as they could have in every aspect and created a well rounded system. It's definitely not a Wii U 2.

Yep, Zelda has better physics in every way than horizon. It's got nothing to do with the power of the systems.
The PS4 almost had 4 gigs of RAM until 3rd parties convinced them otherwise. The 360 also almost had 256mb of RAM. This isn't a first for consoles as the manufacturers would rather optimise their games than make their system more expensive.
