Are you saying that, because I don't own a 360, I can't play Gears of War, or Alan Wake? Halo? Forza? None of them? Oh my life is ruined! WhatEver will I do?
Boohoohoooghoooh give me a break.
@Aarix
I'm not into fps or racing games (Halo and Forza).
There is a general consensus, even among 360 gamers, that Kinect is stupid.
I've seen game play footage of Gears of War 3, but not Alan Wake.
Would you spend $300 to play 2 games?
I have no justification for buying a 360.
Yesterday: I didn't have Gears of War 3 or Zelda 26 1/2.
Today: I still don't have them.
So what, exactly, have I lost?
It's great that you have all three systems. I'm not knocking anyone's gaming habits. All I am saying is I have enough to do with my PS3. No real desire for another system.
Except my Android.
They better.
$60 for MW3 + $60 for Xbox Live + $50 for CoD Elite = $170.
170/12= almost $15 a month. My blockbuster subscription is $10 a month and I get a crap ton of free game and movie rentals.
1.2 km is a stretch, but it's not unrealistic. It's 4224 feet
People have made that shot out there in the real world.
Now these guys going on about 3.5 km on the other hand....
Exile (and, consequently, Desmond) found the GPS coordinates for the Grand Temple in the DaVinci Disappearance DLC. While Exile was leaping all over Istanbul, William, Rebecca, and Shaun were travelling to those coordinates in upstate New York.
I suspect the next one, if the Animus is involved at all, will have Desmond going back to the American Revolution, shortly before the invention of the rifle.
Did we read the same review? This review, and other articles like it, do wonders for helping me get in touch with my inner Grammar Nazi.
Reviewer needs to learn that possessive and plural are NOT interchangeable. The difference between fair and fare really isn't that hard. And it's just..... sloppy. I would be ashamed to submit this review.
It's actually a picture of an unconfirmed Respawn sighting. Activision is calling it's a hoax, or swamp gas, or a piece of driftwood, or a guy in a gorilla suit.
You have obviously missed some of their ad campaigns. Though, I freely confess, they probably weren't intentionally funny.
The online pass is only for individual games. It has no bearing on the PlayStation network. If it did, it wouldn't be sold with all these different games from different publishers under different names.
And even then, you only pay if you buy used. New games have vouchers. And these passes come with a free trial period so rent all you want.
@bordel1900
My guess is that we left it in the Old Country. That's why we have people who Sue McDonald's over the °F of their coffee. And senators who repeal laws to make the CitiGroup merger legal. And hulu plus, and the Ice Capades, and pro wrestling, and the Kardashians.
Stupid is so commonplace here we figured out a way to tax it: lottery tickets.
I'm more worried about invisible floors.
If you're playing, InFamous, Prototype, or DC Universe, then gravity is about as scary as a bichon frise puppy, and about half as much fun.
It's not too messy. You're just a neat freak.
Look on the bright side. You don't have to clean it up.
The problem with that approach is the reviewers are giving some of these bug riddled games excessively high review scores. If Skyrim is as buggy as people say (I haven't played it.... yet) then it should have been getting 4s and 5s instead of the 8s, 9s, and even 10s that it got. If we're going to wait on reviews to buy these games, then the reviewers need to report any glitches and bugs they find.
And if someone tells you the game has a bug in it, please please PLEASE, do NO...
It happens. With a calendar as loaded with big titles as 2011 has been, some of them were bound to fall short of high expectations (AC Revelations), disappoint (Duke Nukem) or just be plain awful (Blackwater).
They can't all be Zingers.
I would use the sandbox style gameplay and the physics engine from Spider-Man 2, upgraded for current systems, obviously, and a story written by someone who has written Spider-Man story arcs in the comics series.
Wow.. ummm. That's a mighty pretty straw man you have there. Does it come with a brain?
I don't recall ever saying that exclusive games are the only reason systems sell. I did say it's one of the biggest reasons.
I also don't recall saying anything about exclusivity being equivalent to quality. Blackwater is a 360 exclusive, doesn't make it even a good game. ALL exclusive means is "available on only one console" there is no implication of qualit...
I think it should be noted: EVERY exclusive would probably sell more copies if it were multi platform.
I don't own a 360. I don't see any 360 exclusives that I feel would justify spending $200 on a system, but if some of these games were available on the ps3, particularly Alan Wake, I'd check it out.
And I know I'm not alone. How many ps3 owners would have bought Gears of War if they could? How many GT players would also have Forza? How many 360 owne...
"I'll torrent the game to see if I like it, then maybe I'll buy it"
1. Do you own a console?
2. Can you spare $10/month
Then go sign up for Blockbuster's Total Access program. Rent them before you buy them.
Before you go on about PC exclusives or you don't own a console, I know that idea won't work.
But I just sent back Portal 2. I wouldn't have played it if I couldn't rent it.
