a worldwide release is SO big given the series' history.
If the world has to be how it is because they wanted you to be able to simulate 10,000 potatoes at a time then they did a bad job making a game.
They didn't make engine choices based on gameplay they made them for some strange ego.
Yeah, it could use a change up. They're really fun to co-op but some change would be good.
@gold_drake HLTB lists Main Story as 48 hours. which is still pretty long, you can play God of War Ragnarok with almost every side quest done in that time. Without the unnecessary dungeons it'd be significantly more manageable for a casual replay. I get that for this game they wanted a dungeon to cap the end of each area, it makes sense structurally and for how much work that's required to make each one. There's just a heavy cost of inconsistent enjoyment. Peaks and valleys are he...
As much as I like Rebirth, I think it's got a problem with long dungeons, dungeons that are pretty forced in and don't have enough fun parts of them to justify the time spent. I'd like to replay Remake and Rebirth at some point but that means sinking in a LOT of time. Ideally it would be possible to mod a version that's leaner, cutting some dungeons altogether. Historically that'd just be replacing an event trigger but I don't know how doable that would be with a moder...
I'm sure of the people who's really played it the number of haters is remarkably low
Yeah.Talking about future games is advertisement by nature. It's a big event and even tho it's just streamed they still have to have a full on production, full crew, rent the theater, the orchastra, all the rehersal, the planning, and on the night they need to accommodate all the people who are not just making appearances but also just there to view the show, many coming from the far reaches of the world. Add everything up and it needs to make some amount of money to feel like a big e...
oh my
I like a lot of the design of Rebirth but I have frustration with the execution.
All the world intel flashes on screen and you have no control for so long and it happens so frequently, in effect all it does is remind you that you haven't checked all the boxes yet, similar to me how battle passes keeps getting shown to you to remind you that you COULD pay for the full pass, but that's not necessary for a game like this. By making all the quests just on a post board and a list ...
While I love the game, gosh there's a lot of QoL stuff I'd change. As well as just taking out so much fluff with the dungeons which was a similar problem in 7Remake.
My dream game which I don't ever seeing them do is once all 3 are out, to merge them all into one without needed at add unnecessary dungeons like the Midgar Lamps and Shinra Manor.
The other thing that bugs me all the time is completing World Intel locks you in place for way too long to force you to ...
My open question is would you prefer an Open Platform (À la PC) if that meant the hardware was more expensive?
Steam Deck is an open platform, you can install whatever you want on it, you CAN buy from other stores.
Playstation is a closed platform, can only install software from their store.
The left and the right
The best part of this game is the only two Escort maps are exact copies of King's Row and Watchpoint Gibraltar from Overwatch.
That said the flash bang has the coolest effect in ANY video game. It's hardcore black and white anime impact frames. legitimately looks sick and the only thing this game has that's inspired and not derivative from better games.
Xbox doesn't really have the teams with that history. It kinda had to be FPS. They weren't gonna have The Coalition do it, the Gears games do fairly well already without the movie IP and their cookin up something else atm.
Dying Light 2, Dead Island 2, Resident Evil 8.
Seems Zombies are usually required.
I think it was more like MachineGames had only made first person games.
What about when the immersion is ripped away so that you can watch Indy climb a ladder...
DEAL!
My Cyberpunk character looked ridiculous so maybe it was for the best in my case.
All the tech in the world couldn't allow for someone to change their appearance later, heaven forbid.
I believe the only bit of gameplay that showed your character (not in mirror or menu) was on motorcycle.
4 writers isn't even a lot tho.
