A nice gesture but would it really hurt them to announce this earlier instead of milking preorders to the last minute? Their shameless anti consumer stance with this year's COD is so bad it'd leave even EA red faced with embarrassment
All things considered, I think the Xbox is in a fairly good position, after their woeful unveiling, the fact that it's sold as much as it has goes to show just how strong the brand is in certain regions.
While that's great to know, most alphas are more stable than Battlefield 4's launch so that's not really saying much.
What are you talking about? Every PC gamer I know also owns at least one console.
@game4funz I'm not the one making generalized statements pretending to know everyone, every PC gamer that I know does also own at least one console, that's not a generalized statement pretending that I'm talking for every PC gamer, that's a fact.
I enjoyed the beta a lot more than I thought I would and I've been very vocal against the game. Having said that though, it's limitations are so blatantly obvious. They try and shoehorn in features which the engine isn't designed around. Look at the wall running and the boost jumps, so many areas of the map are inaccessible yet feels more like invisible barriers stopping you from accessing said areas.. compare that to Titanfall where the game is designed around these features wher...
Comparing MW remaster to DLC add ons.. what are you smoking and where can I get some?
Respawn are an independent studio who have a publishing agreement with EA through their partners programme, EA don't have any development control over the game.. case in point, no season pass.
The last time I checked, the genre was thriving with many smaller horror games coming out, seems more like RE7 is jumping on the bandwagon as opposed to reviving the genre. Not to mention going by their current track record, the genre would be absolutely screwed if it was relying on Capcom to save it.
I was secretly hoping they'd choose Ala Mhigo for the next expansion setting and holy crap they did.. this is going to be HYPE! Now they just need to announce Samurai as the new tanking class to sweeten things even further.
What a cruel size, couldn't they make them 5" or 7" I just saw read "Halo 6" and nearly choked on my coffee.
WoW has now lost two of it's most influential developers in the space of a month, it's a real shame. I'm sure Chilton's next project will be hype but I hope the quality in WoW doesn't take a nose dive because of these huge losses. While not perfect, Legion has been leaps and bounds better than WoD so far and I really hope this trend continues.
Lol true but it also doubles up as a stress test.. well actually I don't think I can even spin it that way because if it was a stress test, it would be an open beta.. you win, F**k Activision!
Well this is technically what the beta is for.
A 6gb patch for a bleeding demo disc?

We've been asking for that for years and look where it has got us... They can't offer us anything better because the people capable of making something better ditched Activision to create Respawn. Imagine Titanfall with the full development staff they had on COD 4/MW2 and Activision's financial backing.. that would have been the true next gen COD game.
That's precisely why they are doing it the way they are.. imagine that a remaster of an old game created by developers who left sells better than the current one? Not only would it look bad but on a more humane level would potentially undermine all the hard work the current staff at IW have put in for their new game.
My initial thought was "oh yay another MOBA, just what we needed" however going by their design choices, this actually does sound somewhat interesting.
ShopTo still have stock of the Eve and Drive Club bundles. A fair few cancelled their orders too which will be returned either today or Monday so that will be some extra stock too.
The limb dismemberment cheat for nightmare creatures, that was super gory back in the day.
lol truth "don't like it, vote with your wallet.. whatever you do though, just don't speak out about it!"
