Visually it looked incredible, going to see it tonight at my local cinema for the special FF event they have, can't wait to see it on the big screen! Having said that though, I don't agree with those who said it's as good as Advent Children, while it's the perfect way to prepare for FF15, it just can't compare to seeing the FF7 universe being brought to life in a movie.
Not really crazy, they alienated way too many generations with the direction they took the game in, social media followers instead of xp, leveling up by taking selfies at famous monuments, none of this is appealing to older gamers who generally frown upon this sort of thing. It would be a shame if the game under-performed though, despite the very focused audience this game will appeal to, the core mechanics feel like a huge improvement over the original, Ubi did a great job on the sequel.
"At least one Watch Dogs 2 this is a concept and a theme that I could definitely say is one of a kind I can't even compare them to any other characters in gaming right now."
Honestly I hope it stays that way too, I'm not that far in yet but the game screams hipster and shoves it right in your face to the point where I feel like I'm way too old to be playing this game. It's unfortunate as there is some really catchy lines in the game and they touch ...
Lol and the rest of them. Every publisher with the resources is guilty of this, they're a business, who wouldn't want to be able to release a game each year that is guaranteed to sell 10m+ copies every time? I don't think Take Two can really talk though, 2k games pump out yearly titles, I've heard a lot of criticisms aimed at WWE 2k17's single player options this year.
How did this slip through the cracks anyway or did Ubi just decide to release it now regardless? Pretty embarrassing either way when you have to disable such a huge feature on launch day.
^^^ They are both based on the same concept though, merging elements from MOBAs and FPS games, it's just that Battleborn was leaning more towards the MOBA genre while Overwatch is more of an FPS game, or at least that's how I understand it. The problem lays in that Battleborn never managed to shake the comparisons and also I just think Overwatch ultimately done a better job in creating a fun game that successfully merges elements from both genres.
Seems like the Take Two CEO has developed a chip on his shoulder after GTA 5's success, who throws their own developers under a bus like that when the games they made were far from bad? It's like he expects every game they make to receive 8-9/10 or something silly. Evolve was a great concept and tried to do something different, sort of the same with Battleborn too it's just Blizzard took the exact same concept and rolled with it in a different far more enjoyable way.
As an identifying alien I find this offensive, back on planet whatever, we always believed in people's choice for the right to wear clothes. Now if you'll excuse my outburst, I have petitions and retweets to do otherwise my rage won't subside and I won't be able to sleep tonight!
For me, both are equally important. Almost all my most memorable games had amazing characters and plot. Nowadays for a big publisher like Ubi, there is no excuses why they can't make both a focus.
I imagine Xbox One Battlefield fans be to differ, they're probably glad COD is keeping all the kiddies, probably makes their experience playing with randoms all that little bit better.
I got your back buddy!

Pretty pathetic to be banned initially but at least the ban got lifted according to the gaf thread.
Peggle 3 confirmed! Jokes aside, almost certainly going to be something like fifa.
It's value was never in doubt for me, the game is just as fun now as it was when I participated in one of the weekend beta tests. Maybe it's because I come from the Q3/CS generation of FPS gamers but if they nail the core gameplay, I'll always have a reason to come back and this was obviously the main focus of Overwatch and they absolutely nailed it. This is also Blizzard we're talking about, they have a long rich history in post launch support for their products and Overwatc...
So wait what, the collector's edition of the games don't actually come with the game, not even in digital format? If true, EA have really outdone themselves this time.
Is this article satire or serious? Going by the bit of text it's really hard to tell but don't want to risk giving them a click. Regardless it's hard to harass someone if they can't hear you.. hint hint mute button. Harassment implies the inability to easily get yourself out of a situation, we have loads of tools online to ensure harassment is nothing but a fleeting moment at best but hey, don't mind me.. whinge on!
Honesty though, I thought IW did a good job implementing it considering the confines of the current engine. Compared to Advanced Warfare and Blops 3 anyway, it felt more natural to me in the few beta games I played. It just feels like beating on a dead horse complaining about it, COD has basically became that series now where they've ran out of inspiration and instead borrow from other games and shoehorn it into a product that's literally at bursting point with everything they've ...
Just to correct the article, Street Fighter 5 is nowhere near full price tag anymore, here in the UK you can buy it for under £20 and I believe it's the same in North America. While it certainly did perform way below expectations, the dedicated fanbase both competitive and otherwise will ensure that game has enough legs to last a good few years. It's not going anywhere and while they may have missed the casual market, will still likely be selling copies for a good few years to co...
While technically true, it's not fair really to bash COD too much for this, Titanfall was designed from the ground up with the advanced movement options in mind, COD just copied it from Titanfall and shoehorned it into an existing engine.
Don't think it matters really, the anime and movie are almost completely independent of each other. I'd say the important thing would be to watch them both before playing the game. The movie focuses on the attack on Noc's home city and sets up the story for when the game begins while the anime is sort of an introduction to the presumably four main characters of the story, Noc and his three companions.
