"Oh, and for those wondering, this update does not remove the 30th-anniversary system boot-up screen and theme."
That's all I needed to know. Excellent! :)
@GamerRN I'm talking specifically about streaming on a Portal, but I guess you're referring to maybe a Steam Deck or other PC handheld? There is no Microsoft handheld though that retains the same controller comfort of a console though. I didn't realize how good a Portal actually feels until I played with one in my hands for the first time.
The new option to stream games to my Portal without even having to have my PS5 on has been a gamechanger for me, only available on Premium. To each their own. I know not everyone uses a Portal, but it's really nice for those who do.
But what if it were a Socom revival?
Of course I wouldn't want it to take the predatory "live service" route, but obviously the game would center around online play.
Now say it with a French accent! 😂
I was having stories failed as non-vetted just a month ago for using Nate the Hate, lol *sigh

It's an absolute shame that Arkham Shadow is locked behind the Quest 3. There's really no reason that Quest can't do a PC desktop version for those on a Q2. They used to support their desktop app platform more. It would potentially run better anyways. I'm just not ready to upgrade my headset yet, as i have had it just short of 2 years now. When I can, i always opt to buy my VR games on Steam.
Btw, I'd add Subside as an honorable mention too. While not v...
@MrNinosan if it were just a console only, I'd agree with you, but I'd be really happy to pay €399 for a Handheld that can hypothetically handle games as good looking as The Last of Us 2, RDR2, God of War Ragnarok. Sure, we already have Steam Deck, ROG etc, but we can always count on Nintendo for a ton of exclusives.
Nailed it.
Yea, even before my Portal I always kept it on rest mode for that reason too.
The only negative I've ever had is a power outage, which is very rare. I've had my PS4 corrupted to the point of needing to be completely wiped & reinstalled. The PS5 SSD seems much more resilient in that regard. No full crap-outs yet.
Almost always Rest Mode, so that I can wake it up and play via my Portal whenever I want. Also for automatic updates.
Because Microsoft is evil within? 🤔
Guaranteed, your horse won't be taking an arrow to the knee.
It's not now, at least where I live. It's 2025 as of 2 hours ago. :P
Next year is tomorrow, so you'll start a new character tomorrow, right? 🤔
Nah, something feels off with the graphics and the character design is truly awful. It feels like someone is is playing the game with the shadows turned completely off. The animations are stiff. It all feels like a phoned-in mobile game.
The feedback has been pretty negative on YouTube since the reveal. It's a shame, as I love LotR, but I have no interest in this one.
I usually start looking at the list while on the toilet, then realize my butt is falling asleep and never actually finishing the list either...
I'd hardly call it a "hidden" gem. It's sold over 5 million copies and has been highly featured everywhere as a standout indie since its PC launch last year. I think "sleeper hit" is the correct term, as it's wild success and popularity certainly came out of nowhere.
I definitely give you an upvote though, the game's great. :)
I would add Jeanne D'Arc. I had it back in the PSP days, but I finally played all the way through it and Platinumed it this time. Great game, addictive battles.
They worked on Skull and Bones. This could have been called years ago. Star Wars Outlaws underperformance was just the nail in the coffin.
