It's a really long game so I don't think it needs it anyway.
Most of the people hating on it probably don't own a PS4 and/or didn't even play the first game.
Haha, I just did that yesterday. So glad they added more infected types and genuine bosses. (I guess David was a boss in the first game too but he was human)
those sneaky fucking stalkers are great, coming out of the walls in the hotel
They never said you play as Ellie in the first game, you probably complained about that too huh?
I'm not done with the game yet but I'm probably about 25 hours in and at this point I actually like Abby. I wish things were different for Joel but I can understand why she did what she did even if it was wrong. Liked the hotel segment after crossing the skyscraper bridge, those sneaky fucks.
I played this at launch, for something with a $20 launch price it wasn't bad but I felt like they should not have forced users to play with a phone.
The Switch could have a price drop due to being out for more than 3 years but I don't think it has anything to do with PS5 or Series X. The Switch is already seriously outclassed by the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X in terms of hardware and that hasn't stopped it from selling great at $299. It really isn't competing directly with Playstation or Xbox.
The reaction this extremely violent game has gotten from social conservatives is hilarious.
I think both of them should be priced at a max of $499. For most console gamers that's expensive but not unobtainable.
The people mad about the game are alt-right culture warriors and/or console warriors mad the PS4 has another critically acclaimed exclusive. The game looks and plays great and mechanically is an improvement over the first which most people seemed to love.
lol what a crock of shit, fun is subjective and there are different kinds of fun. Artistic mediums have different ways of achieving their goals. The Last of Us Part II is violent, tense, and at times a bit frightening. People have fun with movies that are that way so why is it wrong to call a game that does that fun?
I don't really care at this point. The game has been delayed so many times that I wasn't really waiting in eager anticipation for its September release date anyway. I'll play it when it is available. I just hope this means they'll have PS5 and Xbox Series X support out of the box at launch.
I think PS4 Pro and Xbox One X owners will see a relatively small upgrade visually to the PS5 and Series X but these new consoles have other benefits through the CPU and SSD that will enable new gameplay mechanics and features not possible on current consoles. Screenshots and real-time cutscenes do not tell the full story.
I think the disc version will be $499 and the digital version will be $399.
Great, so despite both consoles having backwards compatibility, we are going to get a rush of re-releases instead of developers updating their games. The GTA V one is especially annoying as they refused for years to add PS4 Pro and Xbox One X support probably because it makes selling the game a 4th time easier than if Xbox One X owners were already running the game at 4K.
I do find that interesting because as bad as the Sony hack was, as I recall few if any accounts actually had fraudulent charges made against them. The data was collected and seemingly nothing was really done with it. Here people's payment methods have been used to buy Fortnite credit.
I'm fine with these as they are merely optional visual tweaks but compromising your vision for the sake of accessibility can have negative consequences too.
This is an attempt to stop the resale of unactivated keys that come bundled with consoles.
They didn't fund Oculus, they bought it after it was already established and on the market.
