PS3 may be "dominating" the 360 in Asia, but not in Europe or America (definitely not America).
I'm assuming these sales exceeded the sales of MW2 for the 360...? Lol, which I doubt.
Serves them right - the game is 18+ for a REASON.
I smell another mass ban coming within the next few months...
You're good. I had a 2.89 before I stopped caring, now it's like 2.6! You think you're good, well apparently I'm better so my opinion counts. They're both easy games, and completely different from the first one in most respects.
I'd also like to point out that I absolutely scraped people in Battlefield 1943 online... so I guess I am equally good in both games.
If you're banned for pirating games, then it's a well-deserved ban.
On the PC, yes - but nowhere near the Xbox or PS3.
HAAAAAHAHAAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA AHHAHAAA. I'm sorry, but that's too funny. The chances of this game honestly beating MW2 in terms of popularity and sales is absurd. If you disagree, you're just making a fool out of yourself.
It's not hard to understand. With Xbox being a much larger community, they would clearly get more money... and I do believe the 360 is already housing most of the sales for MW2.
I think I laughed harder than I should have.
If it were a PS3 exclusive it would be a flop. IW is targeting multiplayer, not graphics/quality - those are just a plus. What their real aim for is a huge multiplayer community, and in all honesty, it would be much much more successful if it were a 360 exclusive.
Is it just me, or does IW seem to be putting ALL of its focus into the 360? I think at one point IW was even considering ceasing development for the PS3 version. Something's telling me that the next IW COD installment is going to be a 360-exclusive... and to be quite frank, it wouldn't surprise me.
The head of IW is probably looking at the numbers and realizing that most of the sales numbers are stemming from the 360 community.
Medal of Honor isn't going to even make a dent in MW2 because hardly anybody plays these games. IW is a highly recognized developer like Bungie, so if a game isn't developed by a highly recognized dev, then you can be sure that it won't be receiving much traffic. Just being logical here.
not too familiar with the MoH series, but apparently it's made by EA? Even so, Battlefield BC2 is being released next year as well, so... yeah, I don't see much recognition in this game's future...
Treyarch is just a poor developer in itself - IW really looks into what the community wants and therefore develops their games surrounding the wants and needs of gamers. Even if Treyarch develops another game, this game will be more popular - it's just like CoD4 compared to WaW except MW2 is gaining more and more hype by the day and will become (I estimate) roughly three times more popular than CoD4, increasing the community quite vastly. I looked at a YouTube vid this morning because I don't...
The multiplayer took a lot more time to work on than campaign mode, and that is the main focus of IW's games - not the campaign, hence why the stories tend to be so short.
Would you say that killing any human being is an okay act?
If somebody can give me a non-biased or non-opinionated argument regarding why this is wrong, then I will give you $100. until then, please shut the hell up because you complaining isn't going to make IW take the game back and delete this part of the game. The game is already in stores just waiting to be taken out of the back. ;)
I still don't see what all the fuss is about. You're controlling a terrorist - big deal? In the PS3 game Warhawk I used to fly my plane into the sides of buildings with online buddies and pretend it was a re-enactment of the 9/11 incidents... but yet, I haven't attempted to do it IRL... yet.
This is only controversial to people who want something to complain about - to others, it's just a game, like myself.
To IW it isn't about graphics, it's about gameplay and multiplayer. ;)
I agree, in terms of online play... Xbox takes the cakes. But in terms of features and hardware specs, the PS3 shoots the 360 out of the sky.
