If people actually play games like these, then I fear for their social lives.
the fact that they were advertising it in their bios could be identified as inflammatory, as some could find the term "lesbian" as being offensive.
The matchmaking is a little ridiculous at times. Last night me and a group of friends tried to join a mosh pit match, and it took about five minutes to find a server and when it did, it was a PRIVATE MATCH! Haha, oh well.. it's still an awesome game.
After I pay off my credit card for the 360 that I bought yesterday, I am going right into the computer store and buying a gaming computer. To Hell with console gaming, I want Counter-Strike!! Such an AMAZING game!
Video games are a waste of money, period. I used to be a gaming enthusiast but now my views have changed after being exposed to the luxuries of real life, such as reading a good book or going to a nice restaurant with friends. Much better than "killing" pixels in my honest opinion. It's your choice, but... there are many things that you could be doing out there that are much, much better than gaming. Everything in moderation.
I think Microsoft is overrated. In my own personal experience (having owned both the 360 and the PS3) I feel that there is only a marginal difference between the quality of the 360's service and the free PS3 service. I sold both of my systems, but when I -do- buy back a console, it surely won't be the 360. It's too costly and there's just too much wrong with it.
The system itself is unreliable, you never know when it'll break down. It costs $60 a year for service that is only ma...
Bungie is overrated.
I lol'd!
you don't see the 360 being used by thet USAF, now do you? Imagine that... "HEY, MAN... CHECK OUT ALL OF THE INFORMATION WE'VE FOUND! *360 RROD* AHHH ****, THERE GOES FOUR MONTHS OF RESEARCH!"
Just looking at that PS4 design is making my pants wet. Good LORD that brings new meaning to the word "sexy". Since BR has a pretty solid life span ahead of it, I don't think they will need to add anymore more "CD" formats, therefore production cost shouldn't be a problem. I predict that this will sell between $299.99 - $399.99 and if it does, I can see the downfall of Microsoft's next system.
What I don't get is how he can afford a Nintendo, PS3 and a 360 + Xbox Live.. but not a $100 fee? Sounds like a crock of bull, myself.
I agree with Joel - since XBL houses p2p connectivity, you're essentially PAYING to connect to another user, and not a dedicated server. Not really worth it, IMO. I'd rather spend my $60 a year on something like a movie or clothes.
"Where it's at", meaning if I had to choose to play another system, it wouldn't be Xbox, but the PS3. And my 360 gamer tag is valid, it's Sinister Sith.
I'm not going to lie, it doesn't hurt to play the occasional video game every now and then... though I'd only ever leave it as a last resort, more or less.
To be completely honest I wasn't expecting many people to agree, and that is quite alright - I personally don't care if you do or don't, it was my own personal opinion.
The reason I come here is to simply check the "gossip" in the gaming world, not so much because I am interested in video games, but I am interested in what others have to say about it.
I wasn't trying to sound snobby, I was just trying to encourage people to look at the other side of the co...
I think it's ridiculous to spend so much money on pieces of software that are warping minds as we speak. What ever happened to the value of reading a good book or watching a film epic? Seriously, do something productive instead of allowing yourself to become a slave to the television for hours on end - it's not getting you anywhere, not really increasing your knowledge.
I had an Xbox 360 a while ago, and a PS3. I got tired of both, sold them, and I haven't been happier. I have do...
I wasn't trashing anything, it is a great first person shooter.. I was just saying that I prefer to do other things with my time.
Don't get me wrong, it's alright... but a lot of people seem to think that gaming is a great way to relieve stress when there are a lot of other better alternatives, such as going for a nice long walk or reading, or watching a good movie.
I sold all of my video games. There are so many better things to do than sit down and become a slave to the television for hours on end. Whatever happened to the value of reading a good book, watching a film epic or simply enjoying the night accompanied by some friends? Honestly. I spent SO much time with video games that it was actually starting to seem like a chore much rather than fun.
The problem with online gaming today (moreso on the consoles) is that there is little to no ...
You see, if it weren't for people using illegal and burnt copies of games, innocent people would not have been banned (which I am assuming there have been). We have those crooks to blame for this problem...
What I find funny is the amount of users saying, "What a b*tch!" when in reality it's the guy who is being the bad person. If he has no job then he clearly shouldn't be sitting on the couch playing video games, he should be supporting himself with money and his woman with money.
That kind of behaviour is simply disgusting. What a beautiful girl, she deserves to be treated better. I'm currently single, but when I have a woman I'm afraid to say that my video gaming time ...
