only if by sleek you mean ugly as sin.
GTX 1080 (9 Tflops) + i7 Skylake (have in mind that even an i3 blows the Jaguar cores out of the water by a pretty massive margin)

Rise of Tomb Raider will be native 4k and that's not an indie game but one of the best looking games of this gen.

It's not the same. Upscaling and reconstruction is not the same thing.
Click his link and read before writing nonsense.
Not just "certain", all TVs upscale by default but with a good upscaler you lose less quality when the image is being stretched out.
Nice to know that most games are able to achieve 60fps at 1080p on a PC with similar specs as the PS4 Pro. I hope devs are wise and chip games with at least 3 presets like:
1. 1080p/60fps but low settings
2. 1080p/30fps but ultra settings
3. 4k/30fps but low settings
I think Eidos will do this with Rise of Tomb Rider on PS4.
But you're forgetting that the Xbone S is still weaker than even the vanilla PS4. So the system has greater room to absorb the additional costs of including a 4k blu-ray drive considering that both the GPU and Memory are much more cheaper than the PS4's.
PS4 uses a Pitcairn GPU with Gddr5 vs Xbone's older Bonaire GPU and DDr3.
Amazon?
very true. All of a sudden now everyone has a 4k TV and wanted the Neo especifically to watch 4k blurays instead of playing games. haha
Too bad the CPU isn't a Zen tho. Even at the same frequency it would have been a huge boost in performance from the crappy Jaguar which has been the major bottleneck all gen.
The people trashing the Pro cus it's "weak" would be the same ones that'd be trashing it anyway if it was more powerful but selling for $600.
Why buy a Slim? Maybe cus you don't care about tiny graphical updates, so you prefer the cheaper option?
More like they care about selling more TVs with a new gimmick.
No it does not come with a 4k disc drive. It wasn't mentioned in the presentation nor is in the specs of the website either.
A fact is a spin? I don't think you know that word even mean to be honest.
Maybe that's the reason it won't launch this year? 6 tflops cards will be much cheaper by the end of next year but one thing is for sure, Scorpio will cost more than 400 bucks.
Even 6 Tflops is not enough for 4k in many games but it'll all depend on the games really. Devs could always turn effects down for resolution but at the end there'll always be compromises. That is unavoidable unless they take a hit and sell at a loss.
It'll have improved WiFi with the new AC standard and Bluetooth 4.0 too.
indeed. If they keep making more powerful consoles there'll be a time when a Dev will have to choose between supporting the original PS4 or leaving the power of the latest version untapped. Because at some point the increment in geometry, animation and physics will be so great that the old will have to be phased out and that's when a new gen will come forth naturally as a necessity.
But let's be honest, consoles from now on will never move on from x86. The archi...
No they don't. You're confusing HDR lighting rendering with HDR the expanded color gamut. And the only displays to offer HDR (expanded color gamut) are the new 4k TV's.
